23.01.2022 Due to the State of Emergency being declared today by State Government and with further restrictions most likely this week, the Bairnsdale Speedway committee has decided to cancel our last two race meeting for the 2019-2020 season. We have had so much to deal with this season including drought, fires, floods and now a virus. We would like to thank all our members, supporters, sponsors, volunteers, drivers and pit crew for what was a short, difficult but somehow a successful s...eason. If you still have Free Passes for this season, they will be honoured at our 2020-2021 season. 20.01.2022 CURRENT STATE OF VSC REGISTRATIONS The Victorian Speedway Council, can report that Drivers are getting into the groove when it comes to registering their race ...vehicles. We have had a 41% increase in registrations since our first post with regards to how registrations were looking for the season. SCRUTINEERS Remember with scrutineers wanting to catch up with family they have not seen during Covid and with Christmas coming up and employment commitments thrown in there also, the time your Club SCRUTINEERS have available to see you could be impacted. Be sure to have your car ready and lock in a time with your SCRUTINEERS as soon as possible in order to get your paperwork lodged. Regards VSC

16.01.2022 There was an weird quietness when I arrived at Bairnsdale last Saturday. The guys were just getting ready but no one was saying too much. To say the least I h...ad a nervous excitement for all of them. I just want to thank every one for letting me take so many shots pre race, and before the final. So, gotta say a big congratulation to Mr Jones (hehehe) - (from the photographer lady - hehehe) and also to all the other drivers who raced on the day. Feel free to tag everyone you know. 16.01.2022 Its a nice day for the Dwyers Toyota VSC Sprintcar State Title here in Bairnsdale. We have a few cars on display at the Bairnsdale Rotunda until 12 and todays racing starts at 5:30pm with the gates open at 1pm.

14.01.2022 The Bairnsdale Speedway committee has made the decision to cancel our November race meeting, due to Covid restrictions. Our season opener will now be our Boxing Day race meeting. We hope the restrictions will be eased by then so we can all have a some what normally Christmas.

10.01.2022 February 20th is going to be a great night at the Bairnsdale Speedway with Unlimited Sedans (STATE TITLE) and the VSC Sprintcars are back for the A1 Cup. Joining them will be the Limited Sportsman for the Bairnsdale 500 and the Divi 2 Hot Rods will be having a run before their state title in March. (Mini Sprints will not be attending due to low car numbers) So mark the date and get to the Bairnsdale Speedway for a great night of racing.

05.01.2022 DMT SPORTS MEDIA CLIENT INTRODUCTION TIM MCKENZIE (Bairnsdale) VSC LIMITED SPORTSMAN DMT Sports Media are delighted to be a part of grass roots racer Tim McKen...zies next season of Speedway. We met Tim through our involvement with client Bairnsdale Speedway. We enjoyed interaction during the past season and as a result Tim asked the simple question Whats involved to get personal media on board? As easy as that, just ask what is involved and get it done. The great thing was for DMT Sports Media is that we did not have to explain the benefits of what we do, Tim knew and he wanted a piece of the action. Tim McKenzie has picked himself up the ex Lindsey Trotter ex Vic 1 and current Vic 2 race car and some helpful advice from Trotter himself. The car is top notch machinery and McKenzie has been driving strongly in his much older car this season and now we get to see those developed driving skills put to the test. We will share more closer to the season start with a full run down on where Tim will race and who his sponsors are. We are excited for Tim and his team for their purchase and can not wait to see how he goes. If you are sorting out your season and need some coverage. Hit us up for a chat.
