25.01.2022 COVID-19 TRAINING UPDATE We have found a venue to train at on Wednesday and Thursday nights!! Mr J has kindly offered for us to train at Wishart club on Wednesday and Thursday nights! ... Wishart Club Location Mt Gravatt Showgrounds on Logan Rd @ Mt Gravatt. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU Juniors (white belts, yellow stripes and yellow belts): you will be training from 6-7pm each night. Seniors (green stripe and above): you will be training from 7-8pm on each night. Please arrive no more than 10 MINUTES before the start of class and please ensure you VACATE the venue IMMEDIATELY after your class, as we still have to adhere to social distancing and limit the number of people in 1 area. 21.01.2022 YET ANOTHER COVID UPDATE Hi Everyone. Until further notice, training is not available on Monday and Wednesday at Rochedale. ... Training will now be on WEDNESDAY & THURSDAYS at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds in the Carson Room of the Community Hall. We have access to multiple rooms which allows us to train at once from 6:30-8pm. Junior’s are welcome to leave at 7:30pm if 8pm is too late. Please remember to keep up your training and attend as many classes as you can during this period! We are so keen to see you all there on Wednesday

This means tonight's training session will go ahead as usual (pre-Covid-19 style) down in the shelter shed behind the hall. After directly contacting The QLD Government Health Department and having discussions with Bai Rui HQ, we are allowed 10 people (excluding staff members (instructors)) to train at any one time. ... WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU! This means that we will now be introducing strict JUNIOR & SENIOR classes. If you are White Belt to Green Stripe, you will be attending JUNIOR class. If you are Green Belt and above, you will be attending SENIOR class. Please be mindful that we may have to make adjustments to our class formats to adhere to social distancing laws. 15.01.2022 Hi All, Class is still on tonight. We will train in the undercover outdoor area behind the hall. In order to meet guidelines, we will maintain appropriate distances, and no shaking hands or other contact. As the Covid19 situation is continually evolving, we will do our best to continue to maintain classes, while meeting our social obligations. If anyone is uncomfortable with this, please feel free to advise me whether you will attend or not. Also, please strictly observe the guidelines regarding isolation if unwell. 13.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS!!! As of today (01-06-2020) we are allowed to have 20 PEOPLE train at once INDOORS & OUTDOORS, yay! WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU! ... This means we are no longer separating class into strict SENIOR and JUNIOR classes and we will be commencing training indoors (in the school hall). Although, if there are more than 20 people that attend at 6pm, JUNIORS will be prioritised and SENIORS will be asked to wait and to attend the 7pm session. 13.01.2022 Today 3 years ago the founder of the Bai Rui school, Senior Master Charles Birch, passed away. He lives on in the memories of the vast number of lives he touched. He not only was an exceptional instructor, but he could also walk the walk!

11.01.2022 We would like to thank everyone that helped out with packing at Ipswich and Ferny Hills and then set up at Nissan Arena. It looks amazing and ready for a great ...day of Taekwon-Do-Do tomorrow. 280 competitors tomorrow, all in one day! This doesn’t just happen by magic. It’s everyone’s hard work that makes the day run smoothly and that all starts with the set up! Please also make sure that you are going to the right place tomorrow. The entrance to the Arena is from Mains Rd, Nathan, from either direction. There is a photo below of what the venue looks like when you come through the entrance. There is ample parking. Registration is from 7am and closes at 8am. Please make sure you arrive in time for registration. Looking forward to a great day! Taekwon

This sadly means we will now have to resort back to Zoom Online classes. 01.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Master Donal Byrne after a long illness. We cherish the massive influence that Master Byrne broug...ht to our school, as a Master, an instructor, a coach, a mentor and as a friend. Master Byrne always trained hard and expected the best from his students, but with such a sense of humour and fun, that being around him was a joy. He will be sorely missed by the Bai Rui family, and all our thoughts are with Master Byrne's family and loved ones at this time. Vale Master Donal Byrne
