25.01.2022 I plan on buying as many Christmas gifts as I can from friends' pages this year! I refuse to give my money to places that are already wealthy when I can help my friends and family. I would prefer to buy from friends as opposed to retail stores since it's easier, more convenient and I get the absolute very best customer service...plus, I am helping someone achieve their goals!! Whether it's candles , handbags , jewellery , skincare and makeup , Clothes , pam...pering products , kitchen gadgets, photography , art , why not buy from those we know?? I have a lot of friends who have their own businesses. We all have goals that we are trying to reach; paying off bills...saving up for something special...saving for retirement, etc.! Supporting our families is a full time job. Let's all help each other out! 05.01.2022 Well people I'm thinking about changing my business name to Bait Balls Bullets & Bits! I have all the above mentioned things plus knives, archery, crocheted shoulder bags and children's beanies. I even have some stocking fillers for both adult & child. Come and see my range. You might be pleasantly surprised! I've even got the fly veil hat that is a necessity this summer! More than just fishing. Buy local.

04.01.2022 Just a quick update regarding the shop. It seems the government has approved fishing as a passive sport. They have also acknowledged that people may need to fish to eat at some point but they haven’t recognised the fact that every now and then dad or mum needs to escape their loving family for the benefit of their mental health. Isolation is all well and good but domestic violence is bound to escalate if people can’t safely get out now and then. So Bait Balls & Bullets is cur...rently operating my usual hours which are - Mon - Fri: 12 midday til 5-6ish Saturday: All day Sunday: Most days all day. Except for Easter. Normally this is one of my best times of year for fishing as it’s the last long weekend before Winter. But unfortunately due to the threat of death I will be closed this Easter. As much as our town appreciates our fishermen visitors under normal circumstances we are not encouraging people to travel away this year. If you do come you will find all camping areas closed as well as myself so please stay home this year and hold your loved ones closer. The outlook is still grim. Stay safe everyone. See more
