24.01.2022 When clients message me with special requests you know I will go above and beyond to make it happen this was not only a special occasion for a birthday but a special day to mark an occasion for a special day in the family. We made it work for a loyal customer. I hope I made it a little easier for all. These were vanilla and red velvet cupcakes with custom made toppers

So when I say Thankyou I Have to do it with cupcakes.These cupcakes in particular were for my GP and practice who not only have been patiently dealing with me for months but stepped it right up on Friday. Also a thankyou to the ambulance staff, the ED doctors and the nurses and technicians. Often we don't realise we need them until we really need them. So thank someone today who's in your life and made a difference

19.01.2022 The proud recipient of this cake is also one of my very first customers. I made his baby shower cake just over a year ago! So amazing to follow journeys with my customers this was a 10 inch white chocolate mud cake with raspberry buttercream and handmade fondant toppers!

10.01.2022 Many of you have been asking when my Christmas cookies will be available! We are starting off with the cookie advent calendar! Available in two options! $40 for plain and $45 for hand detailed. Due to the nature of these you will need to place your orders asap with collection being the last weekend of November. I only have a limited number I will be able to complete so make sure you get in quick! Each calendar comes boxed, each row will be sealed, designs for individual calendars and accent colours will vary.

These were a dream to make and came together beautifully may I say, we have vanilla with honey, red velvet with raspberry, sponge with lemon curd and caramel mud with salted caramel. Topped with varying hand coloured teal and pink coloured buttercreams and hand painted golds . Such elegance and beauty.

03.01.2022 My Black Forest cakes are always a hit! Chocolate Fudge cakes soaked in Cherry syrup with layers of whipped cherry cream, black cherry's and grated chocolate, moist and delicious!

03.01.2022 Morning appreciation on macarons. Sometimes they are just not respected enough for the hours they take to make. We are talking a prep time of separating eggs. Weighing and sifting and grinding almond flour and powdered sugar together. Macronaging til my shoulder hurts and a consistency is reached I can only describe as bitumen that has sat in 50 degree sun all day. Then resting it for hours in winter or two seconds in summer. Baking for 20 seconds or 10 minutes depends on the mood of my oven. Until you reach a maybe perfect shell and if you don't better throw the whole lot out and start again. And if you do,They get eaten in 2 seconds flat .
