As you may or may not be aware I have been operating Bake Me I'm Yours in Bendigo on my own for the past 7 years on a part time basis whilst juggling family responsibilities. Our three little girls are all grown up now and our youngest is heading off to school next year! This has opened up the opportunity to map out the road ahead, as we relocate to our new studio early next year. We hope that this new space will enable us to branch out and offer m...ore exciting things! I am fortunate that COVID has not negatively impacted my business, as I have been able to adjust my product offering to suit the demand. However, this has meant that the dynamics of my week to week operation has changed and I have not really had much of a chance to fine tune this as I have been so swamped with "volume" orders. I am not ashamed to admit that my administration has been atrocious and has had a flow on effect to the poor standard of service I have been able to provide. For those who have experienced this, I am truly sorry. Moving forward, today is a joyous day as I have officially appointed a gun administrator to join me! She will be the face of Bake Me I'm Yours Customer Service and will allow me to tend to the creative baking that brings happiness to your tastebuds! Please say hello to Bianca

16.01.2022 I've just realised that being a business owner is not dissimilar to being a Mum. Unless you have employees you pretty much have to wear all hats and do a lot of juggling! I am thankful that I have beautiful clients who value what I do and allow me the space to be not as efficient as I like to be! On that note, today I played the role of IT helpdesk by fixing a small glitch in our ordering system which has given us issues with phantom orders. I equate the elation I felt to finding the missing pair to that sock in an ever-growing bag of odd socks! Yes folks, life does not get anymore interesting than this!
