Gifting books by authors appearing at the 2019 festival to our customers. Books will be wrapped (so you won’t know what you’re getting) and ready for you to for you to pick up, read and pass on to a friend (or stranger!). We’ve got loads of news to share including @b.r.a.e.r rocking the gerbera in the window. See you tomorrow - we will be attempting to maintain good Insta practice or we might be chopping onions or making relish or feeding starters. Let’s see.

08.01.2022 Here we go... last 4 days to grab your Christmas goods. Best to pre order your baguettes and fruit mince tarts ... Marky has even busted out bags of Ginger nuts and bloody rad Black Forest Cake. After Christmas Eve we are tapping out for a 10 day break so grab your pre sliced bread and whack it in the freezer!

07.01.2022 A little update from us here at Baker & Daughters. We are still open for business.. Our bread is still coming hot out of the oven all day. As of tomorrow we will be serving all our food in takeaway containers only and it would be ace if you could throw your own rubbish in the bin as you leave.... We are still accepting cleanly sanitised keep cups for now and yep we are still taking the old cash. We have a sink 5 steps away from the till so we ask for your patience and understanding when you see us washing our hands between sales. Just give us Happy Birthday tune and we will be back. We ask if your feeling unwell please stay at home. It’s a good practice to get into. In the meantime - we will be taking each day as it comes.. Be sensible - be kind and try to stay sane. We’ll be in first thing tomorrow busting out some bad rock ballads handing out a smile or two. Love Baker & Daughters.

04.01.2022 The pause is coming... With the news of new restrictions heading our way we have decided to take a small pause in our trading hours. Starting from tomorrow (Monday) we will be trading Monday - Wednesday- Friday across limited hours. Our priority right now is health and well being of our community, staff and ourselves! 03.01.2022 And so here we are sitting in the rain planning how we go about the next few months... As of today we will be taking a few days off to calm our minds and breathe. We will be back Friday at 6.30am for takeaway only. This is a challenging time for all. Our hearts extend to everyone - please be kind to your mental well being....
