23.01.2022 Installing batteries for a local 10kW Stand Alone solar power system. This system was installed late last year. This solar system uses the latest in inverter technology. The connection method is "AC coupled". This is different to the conventional "DC Coupled". These terms and more information about this system and others will be posted on our new web site soon.

20.01.2022 Last week we installed our first solar system with Lithium batteries. It's awesome. If you are interested in solar hybrid systems just let us know.

19.01.2022 So we powered up the solar system today. Power will be switched on to the street tomorrow. That means that the house builders can use this power and stop running a generator. Also the street light will be on tomorrow night. Had a few visitors look in on the project. This is the future of power in our communities. It is technology that is here now.

18.01.2022 Hi everyone. Yesterday we fixed up the solar system that was in our previous post. As you can see from the photo, one of the isolators has completely melted in a small fire. What is not shown is the inverter above the isolation switch. It was also damaged and had to be replaced. This issue turned into a multi thousand dollar repair. This was covered by the customers insurance. This raises two issues. Please make sure your solar system is covered by insurance. So call... your insurance company now. The second is to have your solar system checked. What we find when we conduct these solar system health checks is that water has been in the isolation switch, either on the roof or next to the inverter. This can cause a fire. There many other things we look at when we check solar systems. Too many to mention here. Do you know the health of your solar system? 17.01.2022 After the fog cleared we managed to get 60 panels installed today. The rest go on next week. We will start installing the super capacitors next week and hopefully some inverters. Need to get the power on for the house builders. More next week. BRE

11.01.2022 One our latest and most exciting projects. We are just starting a major off grid solar project. This shed is stage one of several. This shed will have 75kw of solar panels on it. The off grid power station will be supplying power to houses and street lights in this new development in Finley NSW. We are installing not only Australian inverters but the latest in battery technology. Super capacitors. These batteries are very long lasting and can be charged and discharged very quickly. 08.01.2022 A lot of time spent on the inverter room layout. This room is the heart of the power station. Switch board at the back of the room. The large cable underneath will feed power to 24 houses. Lights were installed in the inverter and battery rooms. Freezing cold today but cozy in the inverter room. Well insulated. The real action will happen next week, hopefully the power will go on.

05.01.2022 All the solar panels are now on the roof. Now we start installing the Super Capacitors and inverters.

05.01.2022 This is today’s work. All the solar panel mounting rail is on for the first 50 kw. Roof wiring done to. Tomorrow we start installing the solar panels. More photos to come. As you can see the sun was setting we I took this photo.

03.01.2022 The installation of the inverters is well on the way. Fronius solar inverters on the right and Selectronic battery inverter/chargers on the left. Cables everywhere. AC cables from inverters to the switchboard. DC cables to the Super Capacitor batteries in the next room. The house builders will be happy when we switch the power on next week.
