23.01.2022 Amazing weekend at Ranch Sorting Dubbo - RSD. The Camilleri's won multiple high point prizes. John won high point amature, winning his first buckle, and 3rd in western heritage all levels. Beth received 4th in masters and 5th in amature. Natalie received 3rd in amature. John also received the men's high point award, winning a yetti Esky. Massive thanks to Ranch Sorting Dubbo, you run an amazing professional event and we enjoy coming. Great atmosphere and grounds.... The Camilleri's have had the best year and we would not be where we are without each others support.

01.01.2022 ################################################ It is with regret that we have to announce: THE CANCELLATION OF THE 2021 INVEREL...L SHOW. The Inverell Show has always been a community event -encouraging the community to be involved in all aspects of the Show. Our first priority is the health, safety and welfare of all community members and was paramount in our decision making process. Considering the current Covid 19 restrictions, the number of people permitted to attend our show is limited. Current restrictions apply to competitors, spectators, members and volunteers. The current restrictions placed upon people are too difficult to control by volunteers. From a practical point of view, we do not have any control over what the future brings, and the restrictions which may be placed upon us. Our Showground has already been closed to the public once, and it takes a lot of time and financial backing to produce a show. To hold an event, there would be far greater expense than in the past. Apart from our regular expenses, we would need to place a greater emphasis on cleaning, security ie: Covid Marshall's, extra personnel to support the volunteers, and scrutinise the movement of the general public around the area. During the past few years Inverell has seen fires and the worst drought in history and our town has always managed to support the Inverell Show Society. Covid 19 has significantly impacted our community and to call on business houses in town to further commit to sponsorship, would be a huge burden to expect them to bear. The decision to cancel the 2021 Show has not been an easy choice, especially when we reflect on the history of our Show over the last 152 years. We also acknowledge the impact this has on the Australasian Showman's Guild. They have also been an important part of our Show for many years. The Guild members are also struggling financially due to the Covid 19 restrictions Australia wide. The Inverell Show has been a significant community event and this has been due to the generous support of the people of the Inverell District. We hope that we will again be supported in our decision not to hold a Show in 2021. All 2020 prepaid - Memberships, Car Stands and Stabling will be carried over to the 2022 Show.
