Our Rum Barrel Aged Gin has taken a big spice plunge with dominant cinnamon, cinnamon myrtle , pepperberry and cardamom upfront, with our signature orange and cumquat citrus all wrapped around its juniper and coriander core. The spirit was entered into our first ever rum barrel to tease a little rummy kiss and a touch of American Oak to provide greater depth. At ease dealing with the public, capable of having a chat with folks from all backgrounds, from the garbo through to the college professor & able to have authentic, honest interactions. You’re a problem solver, when you a see a problem you find solutions from picking up a piece of rubbish on the tasting room floor to fighting with the printer to dealing with the odd Karen, you’ll be able to danc...e. You’re ok to good with a computer and capable of running admin tasks when allocated. A can do-er is what we’re looking for. If you like to do soduko, crochet or watch clocks between customers or other tasks, there are better places to be than with us. Experience? Life is good, people facing’s better, no hospitality necessary although an RSA is. Skills? Tell us about yours in your cover letter and resume. A criminal check will be carried out prior to engagement. About Us. We make small batch spirits and liqueurs and sell those at our cellar door. We interact with people from the newb who’s 18 and on their first ever tasting experience through to the Nanna who’s had more G&T’s in her lifetime than you’ve had underpants as well as spirit enthusiasts who know their whiskey from their whisky and want to talk grain bills and barrel programs. Everyone is a multitasker and gets exposure to most aspects of the business so no day is the same things change from minute to minute so you’ll be able to shift priorities without throwing a tanty. Unorthodox? Yeah probably, ok we are. Nathans a Ginger with a temper to match and Helen is a yes or no kind of person. Mike, Bek & Maria are dynamos versed in the art of juggling and we need someone else to also come help us do what we need to do. The Role? Selling, admin-ing, picking up the slack (at the moment we’ve lots of slack) and gittin it durrnnn. Some weekday and some weekend work will be required. At this stage 2-4 days per week. I fell in love with the @bakerwilliamsdistillery lemon myrtle liqueur, just as quickly as I got a buzz by tasting their wares at 9:00am. Since then Ive been tossing it into any shaker I can find. This one is a twist on the classic martini, but the lemon myrtle rolls through, rounding out the usual bite that adds the dirt to a dirty martini. . SHARE THIS DRINK AT HOME 1 part gin 1 part dry vermouth 1 part Baker Williams Lemon Myrtle liqueur .
