09.01.2022 Unfortunately I didn't get any great photos of the young apprentice's cake, just late night ones. The sorting hat was layers of dark choc mud and vanilla mud with dark choc ganache. Sorting cupcakes were vanilla bean cake with vanilla bean swiss meringue buttercream, with sprinkle core to sort the guests into their Hogwarts houses.... Happy 5th Birthday young apprentice

02.01.2022 Covid-19 ruined my birthday! A big party turned into an immediate family only party with a downsized cake to go with it. As the birthday girl works in emergency services I placed some PPE (personal protective equipment) in the box for the minion, which was sensibly donned for the micro-party.
