18.01.2022 This cake was made for one of Cooper's Best Friends, he has been looking forward to going her party for so long. Unfortunelty he only lasted an hour after being sick he was so devastated, luckily there will many more parties! Cake is based on American Girl Doll.

11.01.2022 After major drama's with my oven last week poor Hamish's Cake had to suffer. I picked up a baked cake on Friday at 2.00pm and had to have it decorated by 6.00pm and in the middle of all of that do school pick ups and swimming lessons eek. Next years cake will be bigger and better!

11.01.2022 Would love to say l've been baking up a storm over the holidays but unfortunately my oven is still out of action. Yep that's right 6 weeks of no oven, hopefully we will be back in action next week. Thank god l don't take any orders over the school holidays. I hope everyone is having a lovely summer. xx

09.01.2022 Oven glass shattered into a million pieces over night for no apparent reason, a little boys heart broken as he realised l haven't baked his cake :-( and no oven for 10 days. Not a great day me!

09.01.2022 A little while back l made a Skylander Cake for the most adorable little boy JJ who has cancer. I forgot all about this note his mother VIcki sent me and l just wanted to share it with you all. I'm off to visit JJ and Vicki tomorrow, a thank you to Lisa from Icing Smiles for allowing me to be apart of this. Hi Yvette i wanted to share something with you :) the day you came to visit with JJ's cake it wasnt just JJ's and our faces you put a smile on.... After you left i went next door to see the young girl we were sharing a room with and offered her a piece of cake and her face lit up and she said with a huge smile " wow thank you so much, finally something i can eat" so i left her a few extra pieces. Her mum wasn't in the room at the time but she came to see us later with a huge smile on her face to say thank you, the little girl hadnt eaten in days as she was affraid she would start being sick again but she ate the cake and after that started eating other food again, the mum was so happy. We cut up more of the cake today and shared it with the nurses, doctors and children on the ward and everyone had a smile on their face and the cake was gone in a flash, it helped so many ppl so thank you so much for putting smiles on so many ppls faces with your amazing cake and thankyou to Lisa Jane Humphries @ icing smiles austrlia and Tracy Marr as well, you are 3 amazing ladies xxx See more

06.01.2022 Harry Potter was on the cards this week, this was cake was a surprise for a clients daughter turning 16. The look on her face when she saw the cake was priceless, makes all the hours spent on the cake worthwhile.

06.01.2022 This cake had me a bit worried, pure white, quilting pattern and with no decorations to hide an flaws. But I was so happy with how it turned out and even the quilting matched the whole way round the cake. Phew what a relief! Congratulations Mia you made a stunning bride and l wish you both all the best!

Thank you Linda, you made my day xx Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for not only the gorgeous cake you made for Lori's party but also her cake for the family get together. They were both absolutely amazing. This might be the last time you hear from me for a while as i have no other major functions on at the moment lol. So I just wanted to let you... know how amazing you have been to work with. Not only are you super creative and talented, but your cakes actually taste just as good as they look!! Lori's birthday was such a big milestone for her, and us as parents, and you have helped make it so much more special with your beautiful cake and cookies. Everything was beyond wonderful!!!

06.01.2022 I met the most amazing little man today, with a heart of gold and a fighting spirit to match. JJ is fighting bone cancer and does so with a huge smile on his face. I had the pleasure of making a cake for JJ a small little gift for doing so well with his treatments. With a wonderful family by his side, I have no doubt JJ will beat this!

06.01.2022 What's in your oven at the moment?? In mine there is Fruit Cake, Chocolate Raspberry Cake, White Chocolate Passionfruit Cake and White Chocolate Cake phew it's exhausting justing typing it. There's also one more flavour waiting to go in Chocolate Cherry ripe!

01.01.2022 This cake has to be my biggest yet! Although you can't see how massive it is in the photo. My husband and l had to lift the cake together. A big thanks to Vivien Malyan for the referral. This cake is based on the clients photos not sure who the original designer is.

01.01.2022 Cooper's Party Cake! Cooper's favourite cake is a simple Butter Cake with Buttercream Icing, and who I am I to deprive him of this? It was actually quite fun to make as l haven't done too many Buttercream Cakes.
