25.01.2022 Port Wakefield Highway Update: Traffic barriers will be installed in various locations along the Princes Highway between the Wakefield River and south of the t...own centre, and on Balaklava Road between Princes Highway and the Port Wakefield Golf Club. See on map below. Timing of works: Works to install traffic barriers and other activities are expected to commence Monday, 12 October 2020, and be complete by Friday, 30 October 2020, weather permitting. Works will be undertaken each night between 7pm and 7am, excluding Friday and Saturday nights. Activities: Installation of traffic barriers. Removal of the centre median between Balaklava Road and East Street. Line marking. What to expect: Temporary minor traffic restrictions may apply in the vicinity of the works at times. Signage will be in place to alert road users to any change to traffic conditions. Motorists are advised to take care when driving through the area.

22.01.2022 The Balaklava Caravan Park laundry is open to the general public. 3 x $1 coins for a 25 minute load in the washing machine or 45 minutes in the dryer. Open daily from 10 am - 4 pm or call Gary on 0400 264 075 to use it outside of these hours. The laundry is cleaned daily and social distancing limits apply.

14.01.2022 UPDATE The Balaklava Caravan Park is open for bookings. Social distancing rules apply and some restrictions apply for our indoor facilities. ... The recreation room is open for residents and guests and the laundry is now open to the general public. We have increased our cleaning and hygeine practices and have signs around the park to remind everyone to stay safe. Will keep everyone updated on any further changes. See more

07.01.2022 Guess what was happening today?

07.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: Due to the covid-19 virus, the Wakefield Regional Council have made some temporary changes to the operation of the Balaklava Caravan Park. All cabins and casual van sites will now be unavailable to all visitors. However we are able to offer cabin accommodation to essential workers. The laundry is now closed to the general public but still available for residents and guests. The recreation room (old squash court) will be closed.... All payments are to be made via eftpos. The Caretaker and cleaners have undergone covid-19 specific training and strict cleaning standards have been implemented. The Balaklava Caravan Park has Covid-19 signage in strategic areas to keep permanent residents and guests informed. We will keep everyone up to date as circumstances change. We hope all stay safe and well. See more
