25.01.2022 Congratulations Possum and Baloo on receiving your Certificates today at the District Meeting
24.01.2022 As part of Scout Day we walked from the Hall to Mill Court where the joeys did the hop and shout and the cubs did the scout promise. They then chatted with the residents about things they have done and things they want to do. They explained some of the badges and demonstrated the scout handshake. Well done everyone.
23.01.2022 The Balaklava Scout Group raffle was drawn on the weekend at the Founders Day Camp at Roonka. First prize (voucher tree) goes to Lyn Marshman. Second prize winner is Ruth Jenkins (see picture). Third prize winner (board game) is Denise. Thank you to everyone who supported our scout group through this raffle.
21.01.2022 This weekend the 1st Balaklava Scout Group set off to Roonka at Blanchtown for our Founders Day District Camp. Scouts met loads of other Scouts, played team building games and just had fun, building skills and self confidence on the water slide, zip lines and kayaks. A full on weekend with loads of new adventures. Cant wait for the next one. Baloo

11.01.2022 We started with an 11km bike ride along the Shamus Liptrot bike trail, camped at Halbury, planted over 100 trees, went to sleep late, woke early and had a great time. Good work leaders and parent helpers.

05.01.2022 What a fun night. An enormous thank you to our Leaders, parent helpers and committee for all your hard work this term. Congratulations to our Joey of the Term and Cub of the Term. Very well done both of you. Congratulations to all the Joey Scouts and Cub Scouts who were presented with badges tonight. Have a great holiday everyone. See you on the 22nd July.

03.01.2022 Welcome cubs and scouts to 2020. What a long break we have had and your leaders have been working hard on a very adventurous package for 2020, are you up for the challenge? We have more camps and off site adventures planned this year as well as much more badge work. We will also see scouts starting and Joey's transitioning to cubs. We are posting our first district camp information (as an event) and please parents look out for the email to follow soon. We will also post our f...irst term planner shortly. We look forward to continuing our scouting journey with you all on Monday 3rd Feb with a new time of 5pm till 630pm Regards Baloo, Gecko and Koala
