25.01.2022 Good luck to our Balaklava boys playing in today's SANFL grand final! Sam Rowland and Jacob Wehr playing league and Sam Michael in the reserves. Its a great day for footy and hopefully you all come away with a premiership. You can watch the action on channel 7 starting at 3:00pm.

24.01.2022 We are saddened to announce the passing of a past president, John Spillane. John was president in 85, 87 and 88. John’s funeral is tomorrow. We are sending our love to John’s family.

23.01.2022 Here's another crew from Balaklava football club that have gotten a permit to play football this season. These guys and one passionate football girl have played for Hamley Bridge this season. They have enjoyed it with the Bombers but we look forward to seeing them back in the green and gold next season From left to right, Darcy Harbrow, Jack Tiller, Tyler Harbrow, Macauley Smith, Tilly Woidt, Joel Williamson and Henry Woidt. All played senior colts except Tilly who played... Junior colts. If you have any photos of a Balaklava player that has played on a permit at another club send it through to to us and we will post it to show everyone what they have been up to in this crazy season.

23.01.2022 ATTENTION PARENTS OF JUNIOR PLAYERS. Balaklava Football Club are starting training for auskickers, under 8s and under 11s on Thursday the 6th of August at 4pm. If you want to come out for a run you are more than welcome. Please bring your own water bottle and ensure you adhere to current COVIDSafe practices. 21.01.2022 Hello everyone! We wanted to give you an update to make sure that you don't forget us. Narelle Michael has done some reporting on the stuff that our club and its members have been doing since we finished in 2019. 21.01.2022 Times for tomorrow nights mixed netball- 6:30- Court 1: Kameeka Scott vs Sarah Heaslip. Court 2: Chloe Gogoll vs Matt Mojares. 7:00- Court 1: Alex Simon vs Ben Heslip. Court 2: Tom Michael vs Alisha Senior.... 7:30- Kate Wilson vs Daniel Butterfield. After the first 3 rounds the losers will play the losers and the winners will play the winners Everyone will play 2 games, the 2 teams the win both of their games will face off in the grand final for the prize money! Goodluck all and we will see you there tomorrow night.

Its amazing to see so many of our young footballers excel in a year like this and thank you to all the clubs that have taken care of our boys and girls in 2020.

20.01.2022 Covid update! Due to recent changes to covid restrictions BFNC have decided to move the information night out onto the oval. The meeting will be at the same time, 7pm Wednesday the 18th of November. We will set up seats with social distancing and have all sanitation under control. Please don't forget to register if you wish to attend either night to help assist the committee. We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Thank you.

17.01.2022 A huge congratulations to another young Balaklava footballer who played with another Club this season. Bailey Arthur was part of the the Mallala senior colts team. Last night he was awarded U17 Senior Colts Association Best and Fairest. What a great achievement Bailey, well done.

15.01.2022 We finally have some good news for you all! Today Jacob Wehr will make his league debut for the Woodville-West Torrens. Gary and Nadene were lucky enough to get tickets for the whole family to go and watch. Good luck Jacob!

13.01.2022 We can't wait for everyone to be able to use the new courtside area. The new lawn is loving this weather and spectators will soon be able to enjoy watching basketball and tennis on a lush lawned area. We really want to hurry the courtside shelter along, and we are sooo close to having all the funds we need. In the next week we are going to kick off a raffle. Limited tickets available, which means more chance to win some fabulous prizes. And with a new shelter for all to use, it's a win win for everyone! Balaklava Football will be allocated a portion of the tickets so be ready to buy them up before they run out! $20 per ticket.

11.01.2022 United senior colts had their last game yesterday due to having the bye next week and missing out on finals. The boys from left to right Tom Michael, Korey Michaelanny, Tyler McBride, Jacob Battle, Logan Olsen and Lachy Michaelanny have all enjoyed playing footy for longies and made some new friends and all improved! Well done lads and we look forward to welcoming you back next year!

These girls just keep on improving, and an extra congrats to Matilda Williamson who got the encouragement award for the grandfinal. 10.01.2022 A reminder that the Balaklava Football Club AGM is 7pm Wednesday 14th October at Balaklava Sports Club. At the AGM we will be discussing and agreeing upon a new Constitution. The draft Constitution has been emailed out to current players, parents, members and sponsors. If you wish to vote at the AGM you must be an associate member of the club. This is a $10 fee that can be paid on the night.
