21.01.2022 While the SWAP Shop sells furniture, we don’t deliver or pickup but we would like to be able to offer our customers a list of people in Balaklava who have a trailer, car, and would be willing to pick up and deliver furniture at a time that suits. If you are interested, send us a message! We are looking for 3-5 people to put on our list. First in, best dressed. Thanks, Michael

18.01.2022 We regret to inform everyone that we have made the hard decision this afternoon to close the SWAP Shop effective immediately. While we appreciate that the government hasn’t yet told us to close we are aware that we are not an essential service provider and most importantly we are acutely aware that some of our volunteers are elderly and have existing medical conditions which puts them at a much greater risk of serious implications and that is just not a risk we are comfortable taking. We hope everyone understands. Stay safe everyone! If you need to contact someone feel free to call Michael on 0447 536 692.

16.01.2022 Know someone who loves to read the ‘Outback’ magazine? We’ve got 37 of them that you can have for free! They are on the verandah near the front door. No holds, first in best dressed.

14.01.2022 A big shout out to Melanie from Balaklava who was on Peter Goer's kid's quiz last night. Thanks for saying the SWAP Shop is fantastic! We recently invited Peter Goers to come and have a look, we look forward to seeing what the self professed 'King of Op-Shops' has to say!

13.01.2022 If anyone has any 5' or 6' small plastic garden pots the SWAP Shop is looking for some. We have someone willing to donate some plants but they have run out of pots! If you do, just drop them off at the shop.

12.01.2022 Just wondering if anyone might recognise the person/bike/helmet/bag in these videos (videos in comments). We would like to chat to them about the SWAP Shop's sheds being broken into in the afternoon of the 27th of September. Also, please don't accidentally falsely accuse someone on here, if you think you might know send me a private message.... Thanks! ...sorry to those that commented on the previous post, I had to delete it, it was doing weird things!

12.01.2022 It seem like winter has arrived early! While we are not open currently we are going to listing some items on our facebook page for sale that people will be looking for over the coming weeks. Please comment on anything you would like and we will put your name on it here in the shop. All items to be picked up from SWAP Shop between 10am and 2pm Tuesdays or Fridays.... Item pictures and details in comments.

08.01.2022 As I’m sure you’ve all guessed, the SWAP Shop and our Christmas Shop will be closed until further notice due to the recent COVID rules. Looking forward to seeing you all again in a week!

08.01.2022 Did you know that the SWAP Shop donates tens of thousands of dollars each year to local community groups. If you've ever thought about volunteering with us and helping raise the money that we give back to the community send us a message on Facebook or on 0447 536 692. You don't need to come in every day or even every week because every little bit helps

04.01.2022 Need a pram, or know someone that does?... we’ve got a few!

03.01.2022 Come and have a look at our Christmas Shop! Open Wed, Thur and Fri from 10am-3pm. Commencing November 18th 14 George St (next to ANZ)... Sorry, cash only but there’s an ATM at the front door.

02.01.2022 Exciting News.... we are opening back up again! We will open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am til 4pm for the foreseeable future and once safe to do so we re-open as per usual. We look forward to seeing you all.... Stay safe everyone!

01.01.2022 We would like to say a big thank you to everyone for not dropping off donations over the past few weeks. It means our volunteers don’t have to put themselves in harms way trying to sort it all out, for which we are truly grateful. We look forward to receiving donations again once we open in the not too distant future. Thank you
