Don’t forget about keeping a various menu and about the fact that too much water may be harmful for your body. Stay active Physical activity winds up the healing processes in our bodies: it frees you from adrenaline and cortisol that are responsible for negative emotions and fills you up with serotonin and dopamine that are responsible for positive emotions. Build honest relationships And this relates not only to love. Your being caring, attentive and emphatic leads to a healthy dialogue and deep understanding. Relax As simple as that. Learn to abstract from your work, issues, and bothering thoughts. Have enough sleep, spend your time without your phone, pay attention to what surrounds you. Take care about yourself Self-care is an important part of well-being. For me, it’s even a display of responsibility for yourself and honest relationship with your inner self. We see characters changing for good or for bad. What causes them to change? I insist that Values Transition, after certain circumstances or thanks to personal growth, causes the whole person to change. Let’s consider this Values Transition on the example of Charlotte York-Goldenblatt, the famous character of Sex and the City ser...ies. In her first marriage with Trey, Charlotte faced a whole bunch of negative issues: her husband’s being impotent and unwilling to have children, his mother who was such a nuisance. Charlotte felt Guilty and Unworthy because she thought she didn’t belong to Trey's family. Her Unfulfilled Expectation of a perfect family made her struggle for being able to give birth, whereas it wasn’t possible. Trying to Control her true feelings, Charlotte became more and more Sad. The perfect family was a fairy-tale. In the second marriage, on the contrary, nothing was perfect but the heroine was really happy. Harry taught her to Forgive herself and other people for not being ideal. She stopped Limiting herself and even adopted Judaism. In the end of the series Charlotte is free, happy, and peaceful. Though Harry is far from a perfect husband, Charlotte learned to love him just as he is. This is a story with a happy ending. You can turn to a happy person, too. It says, Sometimes you can hurt yourself more than anyone can hurt you just by keeping all your feelings hidden. Well, that’s true. Miranda Pristley and Andrea are truly hard working women that inspire but, unfortunately, their lives seem to be out of balance. Of course, they score high in the Work sphere, being successful and, as was said, hardworking, they’re eager to score even higher.... The opposite goes to the Social and Family spheres. Though Miranda has built a huge social network, she lacks spending time with her daughters and cannot find a person who will be able to submit to her schedule. Andy’s boyfriend and friends lacked her a lot when she was working at Podium. Healthcare seemed to be out of place to all of the Podium employees. Remember when Emily had to go to a party with a cold? We also don’t speak about Recreation because there were no working hours or non-working for Miranda. Her employees had to be available 24/7. This approach is very far from balance. We don’t know a lot about Development, Life Planning and Spirituality but it seems that they were not in the focus of the mentioned powerful women. Check whether you are into your strengths or weaknesses answering yes / no on the following questions. Do you get inspiration from others instead of comparing yourself with them?...
