11.01.2022 Looking for the right way to encapsulate this feeling as there is a journey associated to this for me personally, especially in the past 12 months, more prominently the last few. I could talk about it endlessly & plan on continuing to- but for now... thank you men Yesterday I did the Raw Challenge with 30 or so total legends from @blacklabelwarriewood and there was a moment in the messy, muddy chaotic fun that I just had to stop and acknowledge an overwhelming feeling... of being beautifully held and honoured by the masculine. I joined this gym knowing it was the community it possessed that had my attention and yesterday solidified that but also I really did get more than I bargained for in having the men of this group show up in such a divine way! At every slippery, dirty watery, muddy bank, climbing wall, rope yielding obstacle we experienced there were hands to help us, boosts & shoulders to step up from, encouraging words and reassurance from the total kings in our group. For me, to have an obstacle in front of me that I know physically I can’t conquer on my own only to have a man or a group of men offer their strength and literally their hands and shoulders to stand on to make sure I can do it is something that is more symbolic than I could ever explain! From absolute start to finish of yesterday’s awesome adventure I noticed every single show of care & support from the men and wanted to a) share my appreciation & b) really shine a light on the fact that there is a huge opportunity as a women to shift the perspective on men, which I believe is just as imperative as the feminist/women’s equal rights movements that have been uprising. The men shaming // man hating narrative was born from the same outdated patriarchal mindset & programming as that of women being weak or less than... We rise together and I am SO here for it! A personal shout out to @adambrownovski that runs @blacklabelwarriewood for attracting & creating a community of awesome humans, you’re a true leader & a beautiful expression of masculinity (told you it would be long D & M-y) #notyouraveragegym

09.01.2022 There’s a rumbling under the surface this week... while we are still in the waters of Pisces, there is a sense of power, force and imminent propulsion! My instinct is to drink a tonne of water this week & over the weekend (like a LOT) and rest wherever possible, take time for you-to be quiet, introspective, dreamy and slow moving in the moments you can be- when you must work your body and mind use that sense of power that’s in the background. Honour the spaces where emotion...s need to flow through you as there is an ending happening now...energetically, consciously or unconsciously.
