Bunbury Hospital had amazing results in 2019......we reduced all birth interventions for women who attended this program and 97% of the women who got in contact with us after their birth said they had an empowered and positive birth regardless of how their baby came into the world..... 14.01.2022 In case you were curious.. At Bunbury Birth Circle we gather together in a circle and share our experiences. Sometimes our experiences are joyful and triumphan...t, sometimes they are painful and even heartbreaking. Either way, as women navigating the ups and downs of pregnancy, birth and beyond our stories and experiences matter. Our experiences of conception, pregnancy, birth and motherhood are so much more enriched when we feel like we have others to talk to who will truly listen and understand what we are going through. If we experience love and support at every step along the way we are more likely to learn from our experiences and thrive instead of feeling alone. It is our vision at birth circle to provide a safe and inviting space that mums, babies, kids, pregnant mums and anyone interested in birth or starting a family can come and feel supported. 11.01.2022 ***update*** we are fortunate enough to be in the position to take our kids from daycare and school. Big thanks to Jasmine Gibbs and Glynis Biggar for supporting us so we can work and kids can practise social distancing that would be impossible at school. This will reduce numbers at school helping to protect teachers and other children and their families who still have to go. So as of the start of the weekend Justin and I cracked down on our social distancing. This means......... No play dates (yes I know our kids are still in school but we can only do what we can do), no group catch ups (this will kill me most.... I live wineing with my friends), exercising with one buddy instead of a group. No big family catch ups. Kids do not go to shops. Kids do not go to playgrounds. Hopefully soon i will be able to pull them from school. We need to do what we can now. I invite all my friends and family to do the same..... It's not forever but it can make a big difference See more

09.01.2022 Very exciting news.... HBA (Hypnobirthing Australia) will be offered in Bunbury to women attending SJOG now!! This has come about because every woman who contacted me wanting to join HBA classes through the public hospital but were birthing through private I had to unfortunately let down (always referred on of course).....but I told them to be loud and proud to their obs and the hospital about what education they wanted/expected for their private cover . I'm hoping to see lots of positives with SJOG Bunbury and what a wonderful place to start but with hands down the best antenatal education it pays to be vocal about your needs x

If you would like continuity of care with a known midwife (proven to have better birth outcomes for mum and baby) and you want it for FREE!!! then make the call!! Did you know you can change care providers at ANY point in your pregnancy if you don't feel like your going to be supported or if you just don't click or you just like the idea of knowing your midwife. Then this i...s for you. PHENOMENAL service. After you contact them, book in for the AMAZING and FREE Positive Birth Program and Positive Cesarean Program run by a Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner and midwife (this would normally cost up to $900 through a private practitioner but Bunbury Hospital understand best practice and therefore it's available for their women for free!!) 9722 1348 [email protected] What are the benefits of MGP?
