Its a fabulous warm sunny day here in Adelaide so I’ve just been for a walk on the beach with my husband and fur baby Nala and now we are enjoying a capuchino at Kingston Park Cafe. I love the beach so I built into my routine an almost daily walk in the mornings. 04.01.2022 The quality of our sleep is so important for our health and also affects our ability to lose weight. When we sleep we need to be relaxed so that our bodies can rest and repair. Stress raises cortisol (fat storing hormone) and also eating late is not good either as the body is busy digesting Instead of detoxing and repairing cells. Waking between 1-3am is a sign that your liver is working hard detoxing and needs support (often a hormonal imbalance sign, particularly in menop...ause). Listening to a nice meditation or hypnosis and doing nice long slow deep breaths in and out also helps get you to sleep. Avoid electronics an hour before sleep too! . . .
