24.01.2022 Hello A U G U S T Here is our August 2020 schedule. I am still only continuing to plan month by month due to the uncertainty of COVID. Due to government restrictions, we are still unable to return to our Balanced Life Yoga studio, so all in-studio classes will continue to run from Rachel McLeods Dance Studio. Due to low attendance the 6.15am class will no longer run, but I have added an extra class on Tuesday (livestream) called Yogafit at 4-4.45pm. Dont be put off by the... name! This will still be a yoga class, just a more energetic style based on repetitive yoga poses that energise, strengthen, gently increase your physical fitness and leave you feeling great! I have also added a Yin class Wednesday evening. Yin is a slower, intuitive style of yoga, whereby we embrace the feminine energy of life- creative, non-ridged, slow and gentle. It is a beautiful practice. AUGUST will also include A VERY SPECIAL EVENT for you, my beautiful yogis. Which I am SO excited about. (Hence all the capitals!) I have been wanting to do this for ages and have finally plucked up the courage! This will be a members only event... Our first... Sacred Womens Circle- Together we rise. This evening of connection, sharing (and tea & treats) is inspired by our chats at the beginning of our classes. I feel as women we have much to share and offer each other and this tradition of nourishing each other as women the is slowly being lost. Sit together for the evening as we chat, enjoy a guided meditation (& relaxation) physically and energetically lift each other up. More info to come. 21.01.2022 Chakras, Essential Oils & Yoga Online Workshop . There are seven main chakras running along the length of our spine. .... Chakras are centres to receive, store and emit energy. They spin in harmony with each other and each and govern specific functions, emotions and behaviours. . Each chakra vibrates at their own unique frequency. When they are balanced they are able to maintain optimal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. . When chakras become unbalanced, from physical, mental, emotional or spiritual stress they can either spin to fast or too slow causing our optimal vibrational frequency to be altered, causing imbalance and poor health. . Essential oils all have their own unique frequency at which they vibrate giving them the ability to influence our wellbeing at a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level, bringing our energy and chakras back into balance. . Yoga poses stimulate and calm energy in the body to help remove blockages and quiten areas of excess to help bring our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states back into balance so our chakras can function optimally. Everything is energy and everything has a vibrational frequency. 19.01.2022 Eco Christmas Wreaths (Sharing here as there’s been lots of interest from my Instagram stories) Each year we make our own home-made Christmas wreaths. Using whatever we find from the garden to make beautiful, earth friendly, kid friendly nature inspired beauties. ... I cut lengths of our pepper tree, plat three long strips and then tie it together using little wire bread tags. This year we kept it super simple, just adding a red ribbon, but last year the girls added succulents, little fairy lights and other flowers from the garden.

17.01.2022 Why do I practice yoga? At times like this I am remind myself that I practice to surrender. Let go. Embrace the unknown and commit to the very present moment. Commit to myself, my heath and my physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. To learn to be flexible (not just the body) but re-learn flexibility in the mind, my thoughts, my outlook and through life. I remind myself to treat myself and those around me with kindness and care (ahimsa) as we navigate tricky times. I pract...ice to create space- space for self inquiry and reflection. To breathe. Like, really breathe. I remind myself that as we practice the physical asana (yoga poses) with flow, grace and ease- that these concepts I too, wish to create more of in my life. I thank you, my beautiful yogis for joining me on this never ending journey that we call life. If you have booked an upcoming event with me, these events have been cancelled and you will be fully refunded. 16.01.2022 Six days of c a l m I don’t know about you, but I plan to invite as much calm, peaceful and loving energy into my life for the next six days as we, here, in South Australia enter six strict days of lockdown due to covid-19, I invite you to join me from the comfort of your own home- in your pj’s, in your lounge room, outside in your backyard, with the kids, on your bed- wherever you wish, and spend an hour a day with me consciously creating a more calm and relaxed you a...s we navigate our time at home.
