23.01.2022 You can definitely have your cake and eat it too Or in this case your ramen and beer Eating healthy doesn't mean you only have to eat apples off a tree or potatoes fresh from the ground ... It means that you balance your week's window of food You can go out to lunch, just not everyday You can have ben and jerry's, just not everyday You can catch up with an old mate and have a few beers, just not every day The simple tip that we like to use is, if on Saturday you eat 50% more than you usually would. Then the next two days eat 25% less or spread it over three if 2 is too hard This might be something as simple as black coffee's instead of milk based coupled with half half the amount of rice you were going to have with your dinner Small changes, small limits and understanding your balance in food will liberate your stress around food

09.01.2022 Everyone, this is James! James has been training with us since the start of October this year. Today was the first time we did barbell deadlifts. James has never done barbell work or gym work before coming to Balance to You. For the past two months we've focused on kettlebells, learning how to swing, squat and deadlift with kettlebells. He has has also been crushing his kettlebell presses and Turkish Getups.... All of those hinge mechanics from the swings and kettlebell deadlifts have passed over to his barbell deadlifts beautifully! By not rushing into barbell work, James is now stronger and significantly more aerobically fit from the kettlebell work than if we'd jumped straight into the bars. We've also seen improvement in general movement mechanics across the board! Congratulations James!

It can stack into a ladder or a complex You can take a bell with you anywhere you go The bell never lies, it gives you feedback in technique, timing and breath We practice Russian hard style kettlebell not the American swings It doesnt matter if you have never swung a bell or been swinging for a decade you can always improve and learn Ps.
