23.01.2022 Bowen therapy isn’t really a manipulative therapy. It doesn’t impose change on your body. It more invites the body to change at its own pace; to its own innate ability. Too much too fast and your system doesn’t know what to do with the input. Slow and steady and ‘less is more’ or ‘enough is enough’ approach and the body is allowed and encouraged to respond instead of react. Sound good? Book in your session today.

Bowen can be a safe therapy for those who have experienced trauma because it is gentle, can be done through light clothing and there is time between the moves for the body to process the work so the work doesn’t overwhelm an already overstimulated system. 09.01.2022 Chronic pain can, all too often, be an ‘invisible’ illness to those on the outside, making it difficult for those living with CWP to feel seen and heard. Bowen has helped my chronic pain clients: to feel more like themselves; to do activités they usually can’t manage; to feel better emotionally; to reduce symptomatic pain and discomfort; to help them sleep better. Bowen won’t ‘cure’ chronic pain but it is a good modality for those suffering.
