22.01.2022 Hard to post something positive in this godless drought but this is very exciting to see such a large number of Black-headed Ibis. They are working hard on the brown locust and winning.
20.01.2022 How far does your agent go for you? Ben Redfern Emms Mooney. Thanks Benny.

13.01.2022 Just send em! The walk up to The Branch.
12.01.2022 The left side of the red line is not Balarang. That’s continual grazing. 20 head on 350ha, the right side has had up to 700 head on 20 ha for very brief periods followed by rest. Both paddocks have a lot of native animal pressure and are the same soil and aspect. The difference is only rest and while it would be nice to see more biomass on Balarang side, it is only a few rain events away from recovery. ... Hilly country needs a lot more nurturing. Otherwise it ends up on the flats. See more
10.01.2022 The Branch It’s recovering quick.
10.01.2022 On Saturday 21st as the mercury hit 40’c it made the Wallabadah south Fire unstoppable. Fortunately it only burnt out 1000ha at Crawney and has calmed down now. For a while we thought it was going to take the lot. The Timor RFS and community, who have been through 4 years of severe drought and plenty of hardship recently, were an amazing support. They have been working on this fire for 10 days now. I would personally like to thank all of them if I haven’t already and retur...n the same assistance whenever I can. Have a Merry Christmas! Regards Byron
