08.01.2022 Hey Everyone! Happy 2020! I have been watching the trending news lately about the bushfire crises affecting the eastern states, namely QLD, NSW and Victoria. My hearts breaks for the people who have lost their homes, their valued possessions and in some cases, their own lives. Climate change is a reality that we all must face in our lives. What was seen as a nuisance before is now an actual problem that we all need to solve. It cannot be ignored anymore and swept under the carpet.
05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, it's Bala here. Christmas is two days away. As much as I feel the festive spirit for this sublime occasion, in my eyes, I still see inequality on the streets here in Brisbane and on other major cities in the world. Maybe, it is time that we give more back to those who need it the most. I am now seeing Optus taking the right step in undertaking the objective of 'donating data' to the disadvantaged Android and iOS users. Even though, it screams of capitalism, it'...s a step in the right direction. I have been blessed in many ways this year. Though on the monetary front, it's a long way to go, I have had the good fortune of meeting good souls and old friends who have pitched in to help me when they could. You know who you are and may God Bless You and your family. In writing this post, I am now learning more about the twists and turns of our lives, and certainly, how to be more grateful each day. It is a scientific fact that gratitude does wonders for ourselves and for our bodies in particular. Therefore, I believe that it would be a good step that we become more grateful each day and give more to others. See you soon!
