15.01.2022 BALCATTA STORAGE Supports 2015 All Stars Series Hockey WA is excited to announce the Balcatta Storage All Stars (Mens) Series and the Normandie Foods All Stars (Womens) Series. Some of the best athletes playing in Hockey WAs Premier Competitions will feature in next months series. ... Were pleased to announce that the All Stars Series is on again for 2015, said Hockey WA CEO Peter Churack. We have some of the best talent playing here in our backyard and the All Stars series will showcase this. Last years event was well received by the hockey public, which has been recognised with sponsors coming on board to support the 2015 series. Both Balcatta Storage and Normandie Foods have joined Hockey WA as naming rights holders for the Mens and Womens All Stars Series respectively. Hayden Smith, proprietor of Balcatta Storage said he was keen after last years series to be involved with the All Stars and the WA Thundersticks in their pursuit of a record tenth Australian Hockey League title this year. As Balcatta Storage is a new facility servicing Perths northern suburbs and needs to build a community awareness of the brand, we see the value in supporting hockey at the top level and at the state centre. This Hockey WA initiative to create a quality team of young fringe state and import players as opposition for the WA Thundersticks in their preparation for the 2015 Australian Hockey League is very exciting and worthy of our support. Jeremy Walsh, owner of Normandie Foods said he wanted to show his support for the sport, in particular, womens hockey. Its a great participation sport for all ages due to the longevity you can play hockey and were keen to help raise the profile of womens hockey and we see the All Stars series, coupled with the success of the WA Diamonds, as a great platform for this. Not only a spectacle in itself, the All Stars series will provide both of our WA Thundersticks and WA Diamonds squads with strong competition in the lead up to this years Australian Hockey League (AHL) which begins on the 25th September. The highly anticipated series opens with a double header at Perth Hockey Stadium on Wednesday 5th August, with nine times AHL Champions WA Thundersticks taking on the Balcatta Storage All Stars Men at 6:30pm, before the six times AHL Champions WA Diamonds play the Normandie Foods All Stars Women.
