The 5th XI go in into Round 5 at Sheldrake Reserve. On Sunday, we have 3 re-scheduled games due to a wash out at season start. MILESTONE GAME - 150 GAMES Congratulations to Matty Williams who hits 150 games for the club this weekend. Great work Matty. 19.01.2022 **BAD DAY IN THE OFFICE** **RESULTS - Saturday, 19 December 2020** **Round 6 - 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI &, 4th XI**... **Round 8 - 5th XI** Not good results going into the Xmas and New Year break with all sides recording a loss yesterday. Saying that, all teams are in good positions still at the half way mark of the season with all in or close to the top four. We now go into the Xmas and New Year break with training starting on Tuesday, 5th January 2021. We wish everybody a Merry Xmas and a great 2021.

18.01.2022 **The 1st XI Defeat Ladder Leaders** RESULTS **Saturday, 9 January 2021 Round 7 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI, 4th XI**... **Saturday, 9 January 2021 Round 9 5th XI (OD3 West)** A great win to start 2021 by the 1st XI knocking off the top side Swan Valley with a great bowling performance and cementing their position in the top 4. The 2nd XI demolished their opponent Swan Valley with also a great bowling performance. The 3rd XI also did damage with the ball with their win with young gun Jarred Plane getting a 5 wicket haul including a hat trick. The 4th XI and 5th XI went down but fought hard and are still both in or around the top 4.

16.01.2022 **HUNDRED, HAT TRICK & OUTRIGHT WINS** **RESULTS - Saturday, 12 December 2020 ** **Round 5 - 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI &, 4th XI**... **Round 7 - 5th XI** After a century last week by 2nd XI Captain Kain Woodward, Xavier Williamson today smashed a 119no in the 5th XI’s One Day game at Sheldrake Reserve. Congratulations Xavier. Great batting. As a result the 5th XI had a fantastic win. The 1st XI had a convincing outright win giving them full points and cements them in the top 4. Captain Jerra Smith lead the way with the ball with 4/13 which included a Hat Trick!!!. Great stuff Jerra. Hassan Khadim again had another great bowling performance with 4/42 in Bedford Morley’s 2nd Innings. The 3rd XI also finished off their opposition and won outright gaining valuable extra points before the Xmas/New Year break. The 2nd XI unfortunately went down trying to defend their 202 from last week. Chasing 188 was too much for the 4th XI who lost to North Perth. **SUNDAY T20 GAMES** Tomorrow there are the two T20 games with the T20 Div 1 XI playing in the Semi Final. Get down and watch the boys play for a spot in the GF. SEMI FINAL - T20 Div. 1 XI vs Curtin Victoria Park @ Harold Rossiter Park at 2:30pm ROUND 3 - T20 Div. 2 XI vs Western Suburbs @ Jones Paskin Reserve at 10:30am

16.01.2022 WEEKEND FIXTURES **Saturday, 14 November 2020 Round 3 (Day 2) 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI, 4th XI** **Saturday, 14 November 2020 Round 3 5th XI (OD3 West)**... **Sunday, 15 November 2020 Round 2 Colts XI and T20 Div 2 XI** **Sunday, 15 November 2020 Round 3 T20 Div 1 XI** 1st to 4th XI’s resume their round games this weekend. Some competitive totals to chase and one to defend with the 2nd XI having to perform a huge turnaround to win. With unseasonal rain forecast today (Friday) and Saturday there is a chance these games may be washed out with the points shared. On Sunday we see the T20 XI’s and the Colts back in action. Both T20 sides play at home in a double header against Wembley Districts CC at Jones Paskin Reserve. Great day to see 2 x T20 games on the same day.

Unfortunately, the 2nd XI had a loss after High Wycombe had passed their score on Day 1 last week.... Today we have a double header at home at Jones Paskin Reserve with T20 Div. 1 & 2 in the action. 12.01.2022 **T20 DIV 1 XI FIGHT HARD BUT GO DOWN IN A CLOSE ONE** **T20 RESULTS - Sunday, 13 December** **T20 Div 1 - Semi Final** ... ** T20 Div 2 - Round 3** In a low scoring tight game the T20 Div 1 XI unfortunately were defeated in the Semi Final today. After winning the toss and batting first, we were all out for 94 in the 20th over. The boys bowled tight and nearly prevailed. With the opposition needing 8 runs to win in the last over, Curtin Victoria Park did it easily in the end with 4 balls to spare. Great effort by the T20 Div 1 XI to make the finals again this year but unfortunately just fell short after being runners up last year. The T20 Div 2 XI fought hard in their Round 3 game but couldn't chase the runs set by Western Suburbs.

07.01.2022 **RESULTS - Saturday, 7 November 2020** **Round 3 - 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI & 4th XI - In Progress** **Round 2 - 5th XI**... 1st XI posted a competitive score against High Wycombe and will be striving to defend it next week when play resumes. 2nd XI had a day to forget and will need a huge turnaround to remain undefeated after this round. 3rd XI and 4th XI's are chasing competitive scores next week. 5th XI reversed the results from last week and had a win due to a forfeit from the opposition.

A multiple 1st Grade Premiership Captain, Julian returned to the club this year after a break from the game and we are happy he did reaching such a great milestone. Great work Laney.

03.01.2022 **WASTCA BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT** Due to widespread rain in the Perth metro area overnight and continuing today all Sunday games will be POSTPONED and rescheduled on a Sunday to be advised.

01.01.2022 **RETIREMENT** On the weekend, life member Troy Rudrum announced his retirement from playing. Troy has retired before and came out of retirement a few years ago but this time it's for real.... With both his son's Jamie and Connor playing in the higher senior grades of the club, it's time to sit back and watch them play instead of playing himself. After 358 games we thank him for his playing services and look forward to him still being around the club. Congratulations on a great career Troy.
