24.01.2022 Dave, Ash and Mel went to a pet first aid course on Saturday at Murdoch vet hospital. They all throughly enjoyed and got some great information. We are always striving to improve our knowledge so we can give the best care to all our boarders. As you know we never stop learning so it’s always good to update our skills on a regular basis.

24.01.2022 Hi everyone! This is a post about a very special girl that stayed with us. Gemma is the definition of big friendly giant. She loves all dogs and people and loves to lean on you for her cuddles. As soon as she arrived all the staff immediately fell in love with her, which was good, as she needed to stay with us for just over 4 months! When Gemma first came to us in early July she weighed just over 81kg (and needed to go on a diet). A short while into the stay the owners had c...omplimented us on how much better she walks, rather than sort of waddling (as they would regularly pick her up for the day). As of this Monday just gone, when she went home she weighed in at 65kg! Which means she lost 16kg in just over 4 months! The owners were very appreciative and are sticking to the diet and exercise we gave her round of applause for Gemma Below are photos of the day before she went home. She’s missed very much by all the staff and it feels strange to not have her around anymore, but I’m sure we’ll see her again soon Have a great day everyone!

21.01.2022 Hey Everyone! We’ve recently upgraded the beds we use throughout our facility and find ourselves with a surplus of trampoline beds we no longer require. Instead putting them into storage we thought we would see if any of our lovely customers would be interested in purchasing them from us. We will be fitting new covers as well as replacing the rubber stoppers on the feet so they are in tip top shape when you take them home. ... There are two options for the covers which can be seen in the attached pictures. The white covers are an easy to clean plastic blend that can be quickly hosed off and dry rapidly. The brown hessian covers are a hardy heavy weight woven material that should last a long time and is also softer. Both covers are removable and are therefore relatively easy to clean, the hessian will just take longer to dry and require a little more elbow grease for any stubborn stains. If this is something you could be interested in purchasing, please select which bed cover you would prefer in the poll we have created so we can get an idea of how many of each to make. We have 2 different sized beds. Our large dimensions are L= 1m W= 550mm Our small dimensions are L= 750mm W= 550mm The large beds will be $40 and $35 for a smaller bed. We are pleased to say will we will also be donating $10 from every bed sold to the Greyhound Adoptions Western Australia (GAWA).

15.01.2022 A note to our valued customers and friends. Firstly, we’d like to thank our wonderful clients for your ongoing support during these unsettling times. We understand there is a lot of uncertainty and stress for our clients with the recent outbreak of COVID-19. We wanted to let you know that we are remaining open for boarding and day care services. Please be assured that our team will continue to take all the necessary precautions outlined by the Government Health Directive re...garding customer interactions and will continue to provide the best care for all our furry guests. Please be aware that due to staffing restrictions we have had to slightly alter our office hours. The office will be manned as normal between 8am-10am and 4-6pm, however between 10am 12pm the office door will be locked, and a sign will be left with a mobile number to ring for assistance. We will still have staff on site to assist you, but they may not be in the office, so will be able to come and assist when you call. Though you may be restricted with your travel options, if you are working from home, and your fur baby is going a little stir crazy, we’d love to see them for day care so they can burn off some energy and give you the chance to work in peace. GAWA (Greyhound Adoptions WA) Perth Rescue Angels (for the cats) Don’t go Astray (ran by Kylie from Baldivis Vets) We’d be very appreciative for any food (tinned, biscuits, treats or non perishables). Not so much toys they are more in need of decent quality food cash is also great as we have the charity tins on the front desk. Thanks so much everyone!

10.01.2022 As you all know we have very high standards at our facility, but nothing wrong with a spring clean. We are taking advantage of the quieter time to make everything spotless again. Cleaning from top to bottom. It all looks brand new. The pressure washer is certainly getting a workout. We can’t wait to see you and your fur babies again when you can start going on holidays.

We currently have 1 of 80cm length but we will hopefully have some more delivered next week. Also another lady has generously said she'll be making some smaller ones in the near future. Will post again when more stock comes available <3 Hi everyone I have had my supply of greyhound winter fleeces dropped off. As you can see beautifully modelled by Ro-Ro. 03.01.2022 UP DATE EVERYONE THE LORIKEET HAS FOUND ITS HOME WOOHOO Thank you everyone for sharing but mostly thanks to Katie Graham for collecting and looking after her while the owner was found Hi everyone We had a tame rainbow lorikeet land on us today, literally lol ... It’s obviously not afraid of dogs. I have phoned vets to see if anyone has reported missing. Seeing as so many of you are locals on my page I was hoping you could all share for me to maybe find the owner. I do have someone lined up this afternoon to take care of it if we don’t find the owner. Share away See more

01.01.2022 We’ve been busy the last few days preparing the new turf. We’ll be installing a special plastic mesh on top of the grass to prevent dogs from digging to keep it green and plush (and dogs cleaner). Hopefully it works, we’ll keep you posted for any that may be interested in doing their own lawn we have such wonderful staff staying after hours to help us with this even had the girls on the big mowers ferrying rolls of turf
