Dr Ragab can help with all your healthcare needs and can also do skin checks for individual areas. He has a strong background in acute medicine, Intensive Care, Emergency and anaesthetics. Only criteria is the patient MUST have attended the practice in person within the last 12 months. 19.01.2022 We offer care plans for any patients with a chronic disease, this includes diabetes, asthma, COPD, Heart disease, weight management, chronic pain. A care plan is a comprehensive health assessment with the nurse to discuss lifestyle factors that may be impacting on your health and then identify goals or outcomes that you would like to try and achieve and how we can help with this. It is a plan that your GP and nurse will assess at 3 or 6 month intervals to track your progress. By completing a care plan you are then eligible for 5 bulk billed Allied Health appointments such as physiotherapy, dietician, exercise physiology or podiatry. Call us to book in for the care plan with the nurse or book in with the Dr to see if a care plan may benefit you.

16.01.2022 Feedback wanted We are wanting to open evenings till 9pm or 10pm and Sundays, but to do this we may have to charge a small out of pocket fee. We would like feedback to hear if our patients would be willing to be approximately $25 out of pocket for seeing a Dr after 6pm. Please remember that our Drs have families and would be giving up there evenings and weekends to be at work. Other professions are paid penalty rates for working these hours, so I would hope you would agree that our Drs deserve the respect and renumeration for there work during these hours. If you have any moles/small areas checking book in with Dr Ahmed Ragab to get them checked and removed if necessary. If you would like a full body check book in with Dr Femi and he will check and remove if needed. It's better to get them checked early, don't leave them until it's too late.

11.01.2022 To date, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has approved Medicinal Cannabis for the many conditions including the below : Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer Pain, Palliative care, PTSD, IBS, Crohn's disease, Refractory epilepsy, Neuropathic pain, Psychological conditions, e.g. Schizophrenia, Rheumatological Conditions, Glaucoma, Autism, Parkinsons Disease, Immune disorders, Inflammatory bowel disease, Anxiety, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Dementia, Epilepsy, Anorexia and wasting... associated with chronic illness (such as cancer), Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, Tourette syndrome, AIDs nausea/vomiting. Interested in finding out more, book in to see Dr Femi to see if you are a suitable candidate. Additional information from medical specialists may be required before an application can be made. Private fees apply for medicinal cannabis consultations and the application, medicare rebates are available for consultations. Application to the TGA has to be made per individual and cannot be prescribed without the application being approved. (this may take up to 2 weeks)

01.01.2022 Did you know our lovely nurse Nicole can perform cervical screening, insert and remove Mirena IUD's, and insert and remove the Implanon. Nicole also works alternate Saturday's, so if you cannot get to us during the week, book in for a Saturday when Nicole is working. GP appointments will be required first to dicuss the correct contraception method for your needs. We can perform the Mirena insertion if you already have the script from another GP.

01.01.2022 Would you like a health check and to improve you quality of life? If you are over 75 you may be eligible for an annual health assessment. This allows the nurse and Dr to identify issues early and identify any other health checks required to keep you well. The nurse will ask you questions to assess your physical, emotional health and wellbeing and about your current medications. Perform some simple tests such as blood pressure, ECG, height, weight etc. The nurse can provide education and recommendations to discuss with the GP after seeing the nurse. Book in a Health Asssement with our nurse or discuss with your GP.
