Life at Sequana is a joy for both Margaret and Mollie, with all the activities we have its been an easy transition into the village and making new friends and memories.

21.01.2022 Its been a busy time at Sequana over the last few weeks, and our village is welcoming new residents yet again. Carrick and Val decided on Sequana as their forever home as soon as they walked through our gates. They wanted somewhere they could call home and not have to worry about gardening or mowing. And to free up time so they could travel more and put more time into the things they enjoy as a couple. We welcome Carrick and Val and look forward to seeing you both around the village.

20.01.2022 We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Donna and Jane from U & I Designs to our village today. Our residents were blown away by the quality of the fabrics and the different styles that where on offer. All the designs are made from natural fabrics and the accessories are made from Indian saris. All the proceeds for any accessory purchased goes back to the villages. Our residents came for a look around and left with their hands full. See you all in June for the next showing.

18.01.2022 Our Tips for Downsizing your Home: - Measure your new spaces for both furniture and storage. - Decide on the furniture and items you must take and the items you could do without - Decide on how many of each household items you will need... - Tackle one room at a time - Give yourself enough time to get everything done. The question of downsizing is often less about the money and more about your quality of life. What lifestyle are you looking for when you retire? Do you want access to lots of facilities to enjoy or is it simply important to have activities and groups you can join and be part of? Maybe socialising is a major factor, the chance to meet new people and form strong friendships within a supportive environment. These reasons are generally why people will choose our village - to feel part of a safe, friendly community. Give us a call today to arrange a private tour - 07 5573 2424

17.01.2022 Our residents Brian and Colleen have been growing this beautiful Lacecap Hydrangea in their back patio area and the colours are just lovely. Laceheads prefer a part-sun, part-shade location; rich, well-draining soil and adequate irrigation. A site with morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. 05.01.2022 Dementia affects close to half a million Australians. That number is set double in the next 25 years. If we are to prepare for this increase, it is vital we clear up some of the prevailing misconceptions about dementia. The concept for Dementia Action Week 2020, 'A little support makes a lot of difference', has been developed in consultation with Dementia Advocates, who have a lived experience of dementia. The stories and voices that will feature across Dementia Action Week are real. Register today to find out more and show your support: dementia.org.au/dementia-action-week.

02.01.2022 The message for R U OK?Day 2020 is: 'THERE'S MORE TO SAY AFTER R U OK?' 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. In the lead-up to R U OK? Day well help Australians know what to say when someone says theyre not OK and guide them through how they can continue a conversation that could change a life.... You dont have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says theyre not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before theyre in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life. Lets check in with our neighbour we haven't seen in a while, our grand daughter we haven't heard from in a while, our friend who always checks on us. Reach out today.

01.01.2022 12 months ago Baldwin Living Sequana embarked on their final build for the village. Through the dust, demolition, and months of tradesmen in and out of the village we now have a beautiful village with residents to match. Here's a few pictures from our Grand Opening this time last year. Sausage sizzle and all. It was all hands on deck last Friday as we cut the ribbon for the Grand Opening of Stage 5 for Sequana. Baldwin Living Sequana has just completed the build of 12 new 3 Bedroom villas and we welcomed Baldwin Living's CEO Paul Burkett and Cr William Owen Jones along to officiate the opening. Our residents have been very patient with the building process and we are extremely happy with the end result.
