23.01.2022 First Market since Covid started today. Pretty good day - positive feedback from stallholders. BBQ went well - Vicki and her team were on the hop a fair bit. What was impressive was how stallholders and public responded to social distancing rules. Next Market was kl be Saturday 1st August.

18.01.2022 I am pleased to advise that we now have approval to recommence the markets. Next Market will be Saturday 4th July 2020, normal times. There are some stringent terms and conditions that will have to apply, as per the detailed list below. 16.01.2022 Markets tomorrow 8am - 1pm. Come on down - check out the different stalls. BBQ breakfast - bacon n egg burgers, sausage sangas. Cooked by our International Vordon Bleu chef - well he’s a Victorian which is nearly international. There’s donuts, fairy floss and sno cones for kids, bric a brac, scented soaps, shell art and several others. Look forward to seeing you down there.

12.01.2022 Reluctantly I need to advise that the Balgal Beach Markets that was due to be run on 4th April has been cancelled. Markets in the Townsville Region have been requested to not operate for the foreseeable future, due to Coronavirus outbreak. It is considered prudent and in the interests of stallholders and general public to put a hold on the markets for now. This will be reviewed each month and a notice posted on this site. I will endeavour to contact as many stallholders via ...email or telephone also to advise of this decision. We do look forward to reinstatement of the Markets in due course. Stay safe. See more

11.01.2022 A reminder that Balgal Beach Markets are on this Saturday 8am to 1 pm. Bring the kids down - there will be Fairy Floss, Sno Cones for the kids. And for Mums and Dads the BBQ with Bacon n Egg burgers, sausage Santa’s. And can be washed down with one of Mons famous coffees. All the usual stallholders and more will be there.... So see you all down at the park at the Landing on Saturday. See more

11.01.2022 Further to our advices of a week ago this is just a reminder the Markets due to be held Saturday 4th April have been cancelled. In line with directive from the Government Markets will be cancelled until further notice.

08.01.2022 Next Markets at Balgal Beach will be held Saturday 1st August. Love to see as many people as possible attend. New stallholders are welcome - we have plenty of space, and can still be Covid compliant. If you know anyone who would like to have a stall, we can be contacted on this site, or ring Hraham on 0428416060. The more the merrier.

05.01.2022 Another good day at the Markets today. Started off slowly but picked up during the morning. BBQ was pretty steady again, and feedback from stallholders was good. I’d love a few more stallholders - one poor bloke broke down and didn’t get here but we’ll see him next market.
