25.01.2022 The recent bushfires have left us heartbroken. Like everyone in our area, we were shocked and frightened when we heard that we needed to evacuate the clinic on Friday 20th December. Tamika went home, extremely worried about her partner, a fireman, who was fighting the fires at the time. Daniel was anxious about our surgery. He also host a friend who had to stay with him as they couldn’t get home to Lobethal where her family was trapped defending their home. Vanessa was ne...rvously on standby at home with her family as her house was in the Watch & Act zone. The outpouring of generosity and care that our local, Australian and International community has shown in response to this horrific disaster has been humbling and inspiring. We want to help those who have been devastated as best we can. We have reached out to our patients to ask those who sadly have lost their family homes to contact us. We are endeavoring to offer up to $1000 of dental treatment at our clinic to these families. Please call us on 8388 4488 and speak to Vanessa to work out the details and conditions. We wish everyone affected a faster and full recovery. We truly believe that our Aussie resilience will help our community get through this terrible time.

15.01.2022 We are still open to treat emergencies only. Level 3 restrictions imposed on dentistry by the Government to help minimise the risks of spreading COVID-19. This means that we are ONLY allowed to perform procedures that are an emergency or urgent. We are NOT allowed to perform many procedures, including routine examinations, cleans, and treat non-painful cavities. Unfortunately we must postpone non emergency procedures until Level 3 restrictions are lifted. Please call us on 8...3884488 to discuss your individual needs. We have implemented additional protocols for your safety and to help minimise any virus spread, which include: All staff have had COVID19 specific infection control training. Clinicians are now wearing N95 masks and gowns. All patient areas are disinfected regularly throughout the day. Hand Sanitiser Bottles are located in the Waiting Room area. Hand Sanitiser is dispensed at the end of every appointment for every patient. Magazines and Toys have been removed from the Waiting Room regions. For our patients who have appointments booked in the next few weeks, we are contacting them to reschedule these appointments. Please call us on 83884488 if you have any queries at all. 05.01.2022 You’ve seen the headline, but do you believe it? Do you really need to brush your child’s teeth until they’re 8-9 years old? Yes, you do! We recommend parents a...ssist their child with flossing and brushing their teeth twice daily until they reach 8-9 years of age. Your brushing routine should include using a soft-bristled toothbrush and a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste, which they shouldn’t swallow, remembering to brush for at least two minutes at a time twice a day. And don’t forget the floss!
