15.01.2022 Our School Uniform and School Name Thank you to our community for taking part in our survey regarding our school name and uniform. The fabulous green was the colour of choice! It will be wonderful to easily distinguish our students from those of surrounding Baldivis schools (there were a couple of schools whose teal colour was similar to our suggestion) and that it reflects the organic colour of pine trees. Mark from Razoreye Design is developing our logo for us we look forward to the unveiling of the logo once our school name has been endorsed by the Minister of Education. Our School Name I have submitted the recommended name to the Department of Education. The name cannot be shared until it is approved and announced by the Minister of Education.

03.01.2022 HAVE YOUR SAY! An exciting part of the new school process has arrived and we need your input into our school name and uniform. **** Our School Name ****... Our Steering Committee has been engaging with the Department of Education and following the Naming of Public Schools and Facilities Policy and the Naming of Public Schools and Facilities Procedures to identify possible names for our school. We considered numerous names and adhered to a number of guidelines, e.g. not using the names (or part of) developers or commercial entities, providing an option that refers to location, or street name / suburb name. We researched the history of the area and took into account other schools in our area. Involve your children when you are considering the name of choice. Join together and do an interschool carnival chant with the school names. Pine View (clap clap) Pine View (clap clap) Regency (clap clap) Regency (clap clap) The Pines (clap clap) The Pines (clap clap) Following your responses, the name has to be approved by the Minister of Education and this can take some time. **** Our School Uniform **** The second item that we would like your feedback on are the school uniform including colours. We have taken into consideration the colours of the surrounding schools and this limited our choices somewhat. Please provide your preferred option by completing the survey by 12:30pm Monday 3rd August 2020: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NKGDRCS Thank you for providing your feedback. Kind regards, Sue Heath Principal
