24.01.2022 After the success of the April event, the Balingup Farm to Table concept has been ticking away behind the scenes...we have some exciting events planned for 2019. More to come on that later. We are looking for local producers that are interested in becoming involved. Our aim is to promote local producers, food sellers, brewers and more. But we all know food is not a singular thing. We are also looking for local event venues, artisan food makers, food/drink related s...mall cottage industry makers as well. Local is Balingup and Districts (Mullalyup, Kirup) Involvement may be on the farm to table tour, as a guest speaker, social media sharing, catering, selling at one of the events or in other ways we haven't thought of yet! We also appreciate that food is seasonal, so even if you are not in season, please make contact -- we can chat. Please make contact by messaging the Balingup Farm to Table FB page or email [email protected] See more

14.01.2022 We are fortunate to have Balingup Fruit Winery in our region. From Balingup Fruit Winery " Mulberry It's here! Drop by the cellar door to try it for yourself, or order from our website (link below).... We hand-picked these mulberries from lovely old trees in the Blackwood River Valley. This ruby-coloured liqueur fortified has a luscious sweet berry flavour, and is a true pleasure to indulge. For those lucky enough to try some of last year's Mulberry Port, this one is little bit lighter in flavour and colour. But still very YUM! Drizzle over icecream, or enjoy as a nightcap. You’ll be hard-pressed to stop at one glass!" You can purchase online here: https://fruitwinery.com.au/Mulberry-Port-p117311613

10.01.2022 Local bread baked by local people sold by local businesses. #balingupfarmtotable

04.01.2022 ORANGE FEVER: Nothing beats a winter citrus eaten straight off the tree! BunGeo is bursting with citrus produce. Head to WA's citrus capital Harvey for oranges ...and mandarins from roadside stalls and shopfronts (we suggest you seek out produce from Gibbs Creek Grove). You can also climb the Big Orange at Harvey River Estate. Find more fab citrus from suppliers such as Capel Seedless Mandarins and Dardanup Citrus at Boyanup Farmers Market and The Bunbury Markets. Or seek out produce stores such as The Forbidden Fruit Bunbury Farmers Market and Newy's vegie patch #paddocktoplate #Visitbunburygeographe #BunGeo #geographeproduce as above. @ Harvey, Western Australia
