20.01.2022 I b u A n i Many past visitors to Bingin have met this beautiful soul and eaten her famous banana pancakes. Back in the days of the old Beach Warungs, she used to do massage and weave "Good Luck" bracelets to sell to tourists.... With her easy going, polite & hardworking nature she was snapped up by Mick and became a key staff member Mick's Place, Bali for many years and is still part of Micks Place family. In recent years she downsized to work at smaller boutique bungalows @oasisbungalowsbingin that suited her lifestyle and family commitments. Always one of the beautiful faces we look forward to seeing when we go to Bingin & has a special place in our hearts @sugarpalmpics Please stay safe #prayforbali

19.01.2022 Two beautiful, hardworking members of our @baliretreats family Ibu and Bapak, are a husband and wife team who work at #coralseabingin & #coralsandsbingin The very lovely Ibu used to do very hard manual labour alongside her husband, carrying heavy rocks and any other jobs required of her on building sites around Bingin. She told me the owner of the Villas is very kind and used to walk past the job site and see her working hard out in the hot sun and would often s...ay "hello" and they got to know each other and one day he said to her "Ibu" I dont like seeing you work so hard carrying rocks all day, would you and your husband like to come and work for me at Coral Sea and Coral Sands Villas and look after our guests. She told me she is very grateful that he had faith in her to do the job well, and that she does. She is the kindest, most helpful lady, and what a cook, her Gado Gado, Chap Chay & Nasi Goreng are the best & she also whips up a mean pancake. She keeps both Villas spotless and they both treat the garden with love and care as if its their own. Its pretty special. They are onsite every morning cleaning the pool, maintaining the garden, cleaning the villa and preparing breakfast. Should you like they can stay around all day to prepare food from the invilla menu or if you prefer privacy, they can leave after the daily duties are all done @coralseabingin @coralsandsbingin Pic @sugarpalmpics
