23.01.2022 Australia Day, 2021.....Early start for 17 Ballajura Lions members at Lions Oval Ballajura - The Family Fun Day was held in perfect weather conditions and all local residents managed to enjoy a hearty brekky and made sure their were no left-overs by mornings end!! Thank you all for the great turn-out - it certainly was a great start to Australia Day. There were Bouncy Castles, Ellenbrook Lions train rides, Face Painting and Balloon sculpturing as well as games for the children Visits by both Federal and State Members for our area was much appreciated. The City oy Swan were represented and helped with a generous donation towards the day. Thanks to the wonderful residents and hope next year will be bigger and better!!

20.01.2022 Good morning to all the families who have children receiving an award in March 2021 and all our Clubs who are sponsoring and not to mention all the wonderful he...lpers,without you all this event could not take place. I have had some very exciting news! Channel 10 and Channel 7 Perth along with the West Australian will be covering The Awards, we are extremely excited about this news as this will be a first for Children of Courage since I have been doing it for the past three years. Please Lions Clubs of WA continue to approach all schools or there maybe someone within your community who are deserving of an award. Hope you all have a wonderful and and enjoy the week ahead. 18.01.2022 A BIG thank You to all who attended our Australia Day Brekky at Lions Oval Ballajura this morning. Although numbers were down, their were plenty activities to keep everybody busy!! The Gold Coin tin was full with all proceeds going to the Buashfire Appeal.

Baseball team enjoying themselves at the wind-up at Landsdale Animal Farm at the weekend....the fourth season saw 4 teams of children with special needs and their Buddies participate each Saturday morning at the Wanneroo Giants Baseball facility, Kingsway Sports complex. Well done to all the hard working committee who have put so much joy into the lives of all the girls and boys who looked forward to their participation in this team sport...

15.01.2022 Ballajura Lions members were on deck to provide brekky and lunch with the popular Bunnings Sausage Sizzle..... We had three shifts of 5 members doing what they do best!!! A great day and thanks to the many Bunnings customers who all ways give us great support

09.01.2022 Like many Community minded Groups within the Ballajura area, we as members of Ballaiura Lions Club have unfortunately had to curtail our projects for the time being due to the COVID-19 virus which is sweeping every corner of the Globe. Whilst exercising all the rules and regulations put in place by our Federal and State Governments, Ballajura Lions have suspended meetings for the time being. Should any members of the Community become aware of any emergency within our area, please feel free to make contact with our Lions Club to see if we could be of assistance....in the meantime, please keep safe and take care....

06.01.2022 ...a big thank you to Ziggies Educational Supplies here in Perth, who have generously donated books to all our local Primary Schools in our area who participate in the Oz Read Program with this year's Australiana Books....Ballajura Lions, like many other service groups have been some-what hindered in some projects due to Covid-19 but when Ziggies were aware to the situation, they did not hesitate in making sure we could go ahead with our annual support for this project by donating all Books! 02.01.2022 What a magnificent event! Congratulations to everyone concerned with the 2019 Ballajura Community Carols! The weather earlier was a little uncomfortable but as the sun set it was a beautiful evening...Thank you you to the local residents who supported this event and a special thanks to the City of Swan and Ian Robertson for their belief and help in giving all residents of Ballajura the opportunity to come together and celebrate this festive season....

01.01.2022 Ballajura Lions back into action! After 10 weeks of no activity, Ballajura Lions members held a Social evening at their club rooms on June 29. The evening was a casserole and sweets night with around 14 Members in attendance....great to catch up again! With Corvid-19 so rampant around the world and to a much lesser extent here in our country, many of Lions fund raising activities have been severely affected. One such project which we had to forego for this year was the Lions OZ read project....where five of our Primary school Libraries all received Australiana Books for their Library. BUT..thanks to Ziggies Educational Supplies - this year they have kindly donated ALL the Books, to allow us to go ahead with the project!
