24.01.2022 The countdown for AJ2022 has already begun!! Our Scouts and leaders had an amazing time at AJ2019, and the leaders are looking forward to taking more of our Scouts for this amazing adventure in 2 years time

24.01.2022 ABC 7.30 Report Tonight | International Cave Rescuers Supporting Scouting Last year Dr. Craig Challen SC OAM (Craig) and Dr. Richard Harris SC OAM (Harry) successfully assisted in the rescue of the 12 boys and their coach in Thailand. Both were recognised for their amazing achievements and efforts in this challenging rescue as joint recipients of 2019 Australians of the year.... Scouts Australia, along with several Scouts WA youth members, had the honour of not only interviewing Dr Challen and Dr Harris, but also diving and spending time with them off our local Western Australian coastline. 22.01.2022 Ballajura Scout Group | Lotterywest Block Grant Thanks to Lotterywest our Q-store is filling up with some great new equipment (tents, banners, compasses, radios, life jackets etc) which is going to mean more outdoor activities, camps and lots of other fun and amazing things for our youth to participate in. We need to maintain the equipment and will be logging everything used at camps and activities in and out of the Q-Store.... This is a great opportunity for a parent (or two) to help out with our Group by managing this for us. By assisting with roles like this it enables our Leadership Team to focus on providing great programming and support for our youth members. 21.01.2022 Anzac Day | Light Up The Dawn For many years, Ballajura Scout Group have joined RSL Ballajura Sub Branch at the Dawn Service held at Ballajura Community College Peace Park. This year, with all public gatherings cancelled, RSLWA are encouraging everyone to stand at the end of their driveway, or inside their home, to pay their respects.... Our Scouts, Leaders and families will be proudly participating in the Dawn Driveway Service and we invite our local community and surrounds to join us on your driveways and in your homes on Anzac Day. #AnzacDay2020 #DrivewayDawnService #LightUpTheDawn #ScoutsWA #ScoutingAtHome

Send an email to [email protected] , include your child's name and date of birth so that we can send you information about which section they will be in, what our Scouts do, fees, uniform requirements etc and then come along to our next meeting night to check it out!!!

18.01.2022 AJ2022 Information Session | Thursday 22 October 2020 Commences: 6:30pm To attend AJ2022, Scouts must be aged between 11 and 15 years as at 3 January 2022. Eligible birth dates range from 4 January 2007 to 3 January 2011 (this includes some of our older Cub Scouts).... The information session will run for approximately 45 to 60 minutes and will be held in the Scout meeting hall after Opening Parade and a short presentation. Some of our Scouts and Leaders attended AJ2019 and had a fantastic time, and still talk about the amazing things they did, the friends they made and the memories that they will have for the rest of their life!!! We invite you to come along to hear all about it and look forward to seeing you there :-)

08.01.2022 Help support one of our local businesses that always supports us with their Bushfire Appeal Sausage sizzle kicks off around 10:00am, van will be there all day (great idea for Back-to-School and the mums all buying ) NOVA 93.7, , fairy floss, raffles galore and lots more will be happening from 12:30pm to 3:30pm!!!... Take some cash, take the kids and feed them lunch and enjoy a coffee or two while they have lots of fun All proceeds will go to the Bushfire Appeal

04.01.2022 Returning to Face-toFace Scouting With COVID-19 Phase 3 rolling out this week, we are working on our Scout Group returning to face-to-face Scouting. We have lots to get done to ensure we comply with government, Scouts WA and City of Swan requirements that will ensure the safety of everyone attending.... With this in mind, and as I am waiting for the information from the City of Swan so that I can do our COVID-19 plan and other necessary paperwork, Ballajura Scout Group will be returning to the hall for Scouts in Term 3 Week 1. Thank you for supporting our Leaders and Scouts during this time, it has been challenging however it has been lots of fun. Our Leaders are excited and pumped for a great year ahead, and looking forward to engaging our scouting youth in programming ideas so that the Scouts are going what THEY want - their journey, their choice Joeys started back on Tuesday night (still from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in the main hall)....
