This a great example of technical progression and improved proficency with the lift and having a strong technical foundation will allow greater long term improvements as load/volume increase... 11.01.2022 ***LOVE THIS*** If looking at this from a fat loss perspective, choosing the type of modality, duration and intensity you can do on a regular basis that makes you work hard is likely to yield better results (through increased caloric expenditure) than attempting to stay within a "zone" that has an greater percentage rate of free fatty acid usage. This process in known as progressive overload, a simple concept whereby you incrementally increase load week on week for a designated number of weeks (3-5 weeks) prior to having a short deload (usually a week). 03.01.2022 TRACKING YOUR TRAINING Having an objective measure of training output can be a great way to keep you accountable within your training sessions and over a training program Using a heart rate monitor can give you a real time insight into your training intensity which you can use in conjunction with your own perception of effort to appropriately adjust training loads to fit your goals....
