05.01.2022 On the eve of International Day of the Worlds Indigenous People, we wanted to share a special video project that we have been working on between BADAC and the Victorian Government. We were extremely fortunate to receive Regional Health Infrastructure Funding to upgrade our health clinic and services to provide a culturally safe and welcoming space for our local community. In November 2019, our Chairperson Marj Pickford and CEO Karen Heap joined forces with Premier Daniel ...Andrews to open our new health hub that incorporates art and design features that reflect and showcase authentic indigenous culture. As this years theme is 'COVID-19 and indigenous peoples' resilience' it is timely that we launch this video during this pandemic to remind our community that we have been resilient for thousands of years and to stay strong because we will get through this together. Thanks to all involved especially Andrew, Trent and the crew for creating such a special reflection of our organisation and giving us the opportunity to share our journey and vision with the world. Enjoy
