A huge thanks to everyone that has their entries in, if you still haven't done yours please submit to the stadium from 5pm tonight or email to [email protected]. Also just to let people know on top of the Monday, Wednesday and Friday (juniors) comps that we have Ballarat Table Tennis also has a day time comp on a Monday from 10am to 12pm and we run Keenagers from 1pm to 3pm on a Tuesday and Friday afternoon each week. 20.01.2022 RETURN TO PLAY MONDAY JUNE 22ND Hope you are all well and getting through this crazy time of Covid 19. Ballarat Table Tennis cannot wait to welcome all our members back to enjoy the sport we know you all love but obviously this has to be done in a safe and allowed manner. ... As from Monday June 22nd, following government advice we are only able to have 20 people in our stadium at all times. To do this , we will be implementing a booking system to limit numbers and track attendance. The Stadium will be open on the following days and times for social hitting only. ( No doubles) The committee will monitor this and if needed will increase days and times. Monday Nights 7pm 9pm Wednesday Nights 7pm 9pm Thursday Nights 7pm 9pm This will be a booking only on a first in best dressed basis and we will only be taking 18 people per session . To book you need to text Kellie on 0430829701. You cannot just turn up , bookings are essential. The cost for each session will be $5.00 and if possible exact money would be preferred. There will be a attendance register that all people entering our stadium will need to write their name and contact number on so we have records of who has been and when. There will be no use of stadium bats or balls so you will need to have your own or balls will be available to buy on the night. After each session, players will be required to clean/wipe down the table they were playing on using the provided cleaning goods. If the umpire chair has been used on that table as well , that will also need to be wiped down. COACHING WITH ADAM PEGG Coaching with Adam will also commence on Monday June 22nd. Coaching sessions will be ran on Monday nights 5pm 630pm Wednesday Nights 5pm 630pm Friday nights 5pm 630pm These again are bookings only and will be limited to 20 people. $5.00 per player and exact money would be appreciated. 16.01.2022 Currently BTTA are running junior coaching and social hitting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5pm until 6:30pm. So if you or anyone you know is 18yrs or under and want to have a hit of table tennis or come and learn a new sport come on down to the stadium at a cost of only $5 per person per session, note the restrictions of no more than 20 participants per session. Also keep an eye out for our extended hours and reduced limits from November 23.

15.01.2022 HI guys don't forget entries for the Ballarat Table Tennis 2021 2 player season are now available and close next Monday, Feb 1. Come up to the stadium to say hi, have a hit to work out the rust and fill in form for the new year. We are open tonight 5pm - 8pm, Wednesday 5pm - 8pm and Thursday 7pm - 9pm. And don't forget coaching is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday nights from 5pm - 6.30pm.

15.01.2022 WE ARE BACK!!!!! Confirmation has come through that we can return to play including doubles play which is just amazing. So let's get back to the tables everyone and lets finish off 2020 with a smash (or a chop). Keeping in mind that COVID rules are still in place including: masks when not playing, sanitising of hands and equipment, social distancing, and signing in and out when you attend the stadium. From today the BTTA stadium will be open for the following sessions: Monday afternoon pennant, Monday and Wednesday nights 5-8pm (including coaching available 5-6.30pm), Keenagers on Tuesday and Friday, Thursday night social hit from 7-9pm, and Friday night 5-6.30pm for coaching or simply a social yet. And it is only $5 per person per session

14.01.2022 Well that's it 2020 we are hanging up our boots and calling it a year. What a challenge this past year has been, fingers crossed for a much better 2021. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the Table Tennis players, fans, friends, parents and partners out there. The Ballarat Table Tennis stadium is now closed for its usual operations and will reopen on Monday January 11, 2021 from 5pm -8pm for coaching and a social hit.

11.01.2022 UPDATE ON BALLARAT TABLE TENNIS In accordance with rapid developments in the Covid-19 situation, the BTTA board of directors has made the decision to suspend all table tennis activities such as Pennant Competition. Social Play, Coaching, Visiting Groups and Casual Play effective immediately until further notice. This is being done as a proactive, precautionary measure. 05.01.2022 What a busy and noisy morning up at the BTTA stadium. Absolutely fantastic to have almost 70 students from Phoenix College and Ballarat High School filling the stadium with the sounds of fun and laughter and balls bouncing on tables.

05.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the continued high numbers of new Covid cases throughout Victoria the decision has been made to return to Stage 3 restrictions throughout regional Vic as of Midnight Wednesday. This means back to home schooling and the suspension of all community sport, amongst other things. From a table tennis point of view , the table tennis stadium will be closed from Wednesday night until restrictions are ceased. Heads up though everyone if we follow the rules we can get on top of this and get back to doing what we all love .

05.01.2022 Well here we go again, a new year. Welcome to 2021 and fingers crossed for a better year and some more time on the tables. The BTTA Stadium is going to be opening up again for coaching and social hitting from Monday January 11, 2021. Our opening times will be Monday 5pm - 8pm (Coaching 5-6.30), Wednesday 5pm - 8pm (Coaching 5-6.30), Thursday 7pm - 9pm and Friday 5pm - 6.30pm (coaching 5-6.30). Our first pennant season of the year will be our 2 player pennant starting February 8.

03.01.2022 Just a reminder that Table tennis is back in Ballarat as of 5:00pm tonight. Please note that COVID are still in place, so make sure everyone signs in, sanitises, using social distancing as much as possible and wearing masks when not playing. The new season will start from Monday Feb 8 2021, so keep an eye on your inbox this week for an entry form, come into the stadium or contact the Stadium Manager Adam via email [email protected] or text message 0481950664. 02.01.2022 What's going on at the Ballarat Table Tennis Stadium???? SOLAR!!! - that's what, the guys from Effective Electrical are busy installing nearly 65 solar panels to the roof of the stadium. A huge thanks go out to #CityofBallarat and #BREAZE for their generous support of BTTA into moving toward a sustainable future. Don't forget to come down for a hit, the stadium is open for social play from 5pm - 8pm Monday and Wednesday nights.

With restrictions finally easing across Victoria it is with great pleasure that we can announce that the Ballarat Table Tennis Stadium will once again be open to all players. It is hoped that from Monday November 23 we can have up to 100 players in the stadium all following Covid safe protocols.
