23.01.2022 Hi all, reminder tonight is our legacy night at our clubrooms on the corner of Devon st and Wendouree pde, where all proceeds of the night will be going to legacy Ballarat. Come down and meet our members as well as the Ballarat fly fishers club members who will be showing us their skills in fly tying. Then later in the night we will be raffling those flys. Drinks at bar prices and a free supper is supplied. Hope to see you there.

20.01.2022 If you’re not doing anything tomorrow morning, take the kids to Victoria park lakes to catch a fish or 2. Plenty of freebies including drinks and sausages. Also experts will be on hand to assist with advice to help catch the big one.

17.01.2022 Results from last weekend's trip to Peterborough. All anglers fished the river Saturday for very little results with only 2 bream caught at 28cm and 34cm. Sunday most headed back to the river with the same results as Saturday. But 2 members decided to try the lake which which ended up being a great decision with them catching 8 bream between 29cm and 38cm. Also 2 Salmon 29cm and 31cm.

11.01.2022 Lake is full. Plenty of campers. Fish are biting. All is good! Fellow caught a 4 lb rainbow trout today. Other smaller fish also. Is the "Rainbow Shield" competition against Derrinallum tomorrow Sunday 8am to 2pm.

01.01.2022 This years annual trip to Williamstown. Weather was not great and fish did not really fire but still managed to pick up a few pinky’s and flatties. Also had fun on a school of salmon just under the Westgate bridge. Always a good trip....
