19.01.2022 Ballarat Spring Show 2020 - Announcement On Wednesday 24th June the Societys Executive Committee met to discuss and make a decision regarding the 2020 Ballarat... Spring Show due to Covid19. Having considered all our options, we have made the difficult decision not to run the show this year. We are disappointed that we will not have a show in 2020, however, the health and safety of the public is our top priority. Due to the fact that there will not be a show we would like to give the council the opportunity to make alternative arrangements for the Friday public holiday for this year. By doing this the Society hopes that local business that have been hit hard by Covid19 will have an opportunity to recoup some revenue in the lead up to the Christmas shopping period. We would like to thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.

18.01.2022 To all our beef exhibitors coming for the classics on Saturday afternoon we have a slight change in times. The junior handlers will be at 2pm and bull classic at 3pm as advertised however the heifer classic will be moved to 4pm and junior judging following that. A BBQ for all exhibitors provided by Westpac agribusiness banking will follow the judging.

09.01.2022 Great results at the Ballarat Show recently with our Mt Rowan Angus Lowlines! Pictured, the winning team. (B) Bridget Callahan, Annabelle Fox, Emma Dickinson, M...ason Johns. (FR) Henry Dickinson, Ethan Johns. Henry Dickinson with BG Nevett. Grand Champion Bull Jnr Judging Competition. 1st Connie Blake, 2nd Henry Dickinson and 3rd Tillee Huf 'BG Kate', with her calf 'BG Priscilla', took out Grand Champion Interbreed Female and Supreme Beef Exhibit of the show. She then combined with 'BG JD' and 'BG Nola' to win the Open Group of Three. Ballarat Grammar was awarded the A.E. Wemyss Cup for the Most Successful Exhibitor. Connie and Henry (1st in Jnr Handler) qualified for the RASV State Finals to be held at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2019. Well done to the whole team! Thanks to staff members Matt Dickinson, Noni Gabb and Roger Mills for all your work in the lead up to and over the show!
