17.01.2022 Open again! I have been busy this week registering the Cook Club kitchen to allow me to sell prepared home cooked meals from here. Thanks to the support of Ballarat City Council I have been given the green light. Danny and I have set up a contactless pickup station and I have altered my website to take orders so we are now ready to go!! The plan is to prepare dishes on Monday, Wednesday’s and Fridays and Pickups will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is only me cooking so it will be limited stock and inventory is set up on the site so it will show sold out when it’s all gone. 06.01.2022 So this afternoon I spent a few hours in a biscuit making session with 4 lovely ladies. I suggested that we forget about what's happening outside and enjoy our afternoon of baking. I actually said that it will be interesting to see what has changed in the world when the session was done. We were all sitting (socially distanced) enjoying a cuppa and freshly baked biscuit after the session when one of the girls looked at her phone!! Well it was announced that all no essential ...businesses would have to close as of Tuesday and sadly this means me and the Ballarat Cook Club. I am now looking at what I can do with my time and work space that will be compliant with the ever changing rules. Stay tuned as I will keep you posted.
