22.01.2022 At Dr Becky's household, master 7's tooth fell out whilst in the car. For many parents with young children, a common question we often get asked is how long should it take for a baby tooth to fall out once it becomes wobbly? Is this is a "how long is a piece of string?" question? ... We know that usually it can take up to 6 months for an adult tooth to fully come through from the time it starts to emerge. Our usual advice to parents is that if the tooth hasn't fallen out by 4-5 months after it first becomes wobbly, it would be worth while having it checked out by a professional. Otherwise, go nuts with the wobbling. Some kids are super good with it! We love hearing wobbly teeth stories. What's the fastest you have seen a wobbly tooth fall out? Share a fun story with us!
