Mum's Baklava sold out at the Christmas Market and loads of people missed out... we're super pleased to have Michelle back for a special appearance this Saturday. We've told her to pack the car but come early if you have a craving for baklava!

25.01.2022 THANKS for a great Christmas Market last night! Final count was 92 stalls, with thousands of happy customers joining them! Thanks to all our valued shoppers for your support since we restarted the market in July. Your patience as we worked within changing covid restrictions is much appreciated and it was great to see so many people voluntarily wearing masks and playing it safe last night. Our next market is on January 9 - no market on Boxing Day next Saturday. Watch out fo...r our posts between now and then; I'm going to be very excited to announce the return of a much loved veggie provider in the New Year! Meantime, have a safe and happy Christmas and a wonderful time with family and friends as we end the year that was 2020! Back in March or April, we couldn't dare think we'd end on such a high! Mark's Bonsai join us for the first time tomorrow so come have a chat to Mark about this fascinating hobby. Mark can supply bonsai pots, plants, resources & equipment as well as mature bonsai displays.

22.01.2022 Lakey Farm, who are regular stallholders at the market, have a number of available places left in their CSA meat subscription program and would love to make these subscriptions available to people residing in the Ballarat area and surrounding suburbs. CSA 'Community Supported Agriculture' packs are available in different sizes and variations; they can be customised to suit a household's needs and preferences. They are available for collection each month at the Ballarat Farme...rs Market. Customers can sign up online at the website - www.lakeyfarm.com. Lakey Farm offer three different kinds of meat box subscriptions, and three different size variations for each. Customers can try a meat box before signing up to our CSA program by purchasing a CSA test box. CSA subscribers sign up to a 12 month subscription and are rewarded with the best prices, plus member benefits such as testers and special offers. 19.01.2022 Oranges again! We're very excited to announce that Frank (from Mildura) will be back at the market on Sat Nov 28! Sultana Girl (Erin) has been hit hard by drought this year and lost her crop so Frank will be attending both markets (2nd and 4th Saturdays) until February. As well as oranges, Frank will have other fruit as it comes into season (avocados, stone fruit, lemons)
