13.01.2022 Hi folks, Just letting you know that Apex who are next door to us, commence their Christmas Tree sales as of tomorrow (Sat 28/11). Great cause and one that as a club we are supporting also! Please be mindful of extra traffic in the area and ensure that children are escorted across the street if needed so everyone is safe, especially at this time of the year.

10.01.2022 2020 is drawing to a close and what a year it has been... disruptions to our daily lives, fires, lockdowns, protests, swabs up noses, lots of donuts and the re-opening of the state. It has been the hardest year that I can recall that Gymnastics has ever had to deal with... so many shut downs and athletes unable to train, but at last we have re-opened and in lots of ways in a better position then before... positivity is the key! At Gymsports we love to celebrate our members an...d their achievements. This year how and what will be very different in oh so many ways. We need to make sure we do this in a safe way but also have some fun, so... Save the Date and let's celebrate on Sunday December 20th. From lunchtime onwards in a couple of COVIDsafe sessions at the Gymsports centre. Times and full details will be released in the next few days. We look forward to seeing families and friends.

10.01.2022 We are in full swing for the under 10 session at today's end of year fun and bbq day.

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, we have had an amazing result with our Cadbury Fundraiser, many families have returned their monies already. We now need everyone else to please return theirs to enable us to finalise everything and see what the end total raised will be. If you would still like some extras, we have a few boxes left at the reception also. Once again thank you for all your great work and hopefully the dentists in the area don't also profit too much from our fundraiser... hahaha.

08.01.2022 WOW how good is it to be back in the gym with so many amazing kids, coaches and parents. To our athletes, thank you for continually adapting to the new COVID rules and staying positive, you are all super! To our Coaches and Staff, fantastic work team for your diligence and care of your athletes, you are all such a special team!... To our super star parents, your continued support and understanding with all the changes and rules we all thank you and appreciate what you are doing! Please remember that with everything going on around us, we need to stay the course and maintain the COVID safe rules, this is especially true if your child is displaying any of the symptoms associated with the virus. Unfortunately it can at times mean that if your child is suffering Hay fever like symptoms, these are also on the list for COVID and we may need to exclude them from their session for that day. We do offer make up classes for these types of missed sessions, so simply let us know and the reception staff will arrange an alternate class. Over the coming weeks you may see different authorised persons out on the floor taking photos and/or small videos for the club, these persons will be wearing a Yellow vest. If you don't want your child to be included in this activity please let us know through reception. Thank you to everyone and stay safe!

08.01.2022 Double trouble with heaps of smiles to boot... gymnasts Maya x 2 tonight after training. We are so excited to have Maya B back in the gym training again and looking forward to her hopefully being able to show us her routines in next years Special Olympics Gymnastics events. Not even COVID can keep this lovely young gymnast from doing what she likes!... Thanks Mum, Dad and Physio Paul for all the support, guidance, belief and encouragement. #InclusionRevolution

06.01.2022 COVID UPDATE: With the continued easing of restrictions by the Premier yesterday, we all need to continue to do our part in ensuring we keep those around us safe and well. As of Monday 30th November, we will be back to full strength and an increased timetable. This means more people in the gym coming in and out and also means we will have an increased presence of our COVID Marshalls (they are wearing the yellow vests) helping to keep distancing and hygiene as required.... We also anticipate that more "friends" may take the opportunity to come along and visit. We ask that all adults that are staying (regardless of length), complete their registration via our QR code or Sign In register located at the Reception Desk upon arrival. Please also remember that if participants display any of the COVID related symptoms, they should not attend class, we do offer make ups!

01.01.2022 What a great way to start 2021 off with... Our own Head MAG Coach Dong will be the lead for the boys program at our January Camp commencing on the 11th January. Dong will be joined by ex HPP Coach Stacey Taylor who will be leading the WAG program in the camp. Other guest coaches are Dean from Springers, Emma and Sally from Palmers plus some of our very own awesome coaches.... We also have guest presenters from the RADCentre covering strapping and injury prevention, to cover a couple of the sessions. Also in a first, we are working with ACU and their Camillus Residence to provide amazing accommodation for participants and presenters. Limited spaces in both the MAG and WAG comp programs are still available. Go to our website for more details. https://www.instagram.com/p/CJWkHr_DhL_/
