12.01.2022 Dreams do come true! 1870 Melbourne Cup winner Nimblefoot was owned by Walter Craig of Ballarat. Walter Craig purchased the 'Bath's Hotel' in 1857, which we know today at Craigs Royal Hotel. Craig dreamt four months before the race that his horse won the Melbourne Cup but noted the jockey wore a black armband. Craig's prediction came true.
