We use all the funds raised at this event to ensure our Marcus Oldham Ballarat International Horse Trials in May are able to offer you exciting new challenges, the latest in safety upgrades, a beautiful course, and lots of great prizes! 14.01.2022 ? ? , ! ... Friends of Ballarat Eventing Association has organised two fabulous weekends to help you and your equine team member get back in to tip top shape! The Weekend of January 18/19 is our C and our The Weekend of Feb 8/9 is our fabulous . The Summer Clinic will offer the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches in dressage, showjumping and cross country. The cross country course will be fully flagged and training will be available for all grades to 4*. The Hickstead will offer an enjoyable and low key competition atmosphere to prepare for the season ahead. Both weekends are excellent training opportunities in the relaxed and beautiful atmosphere of Ballarats Victoria Park Equestrian Precinct. 13.01.2022 Attention all Hunter Trials/dressage and clinic participants. Unfortunately due to receiving over 15ml of rain last night and more forcast for this week we are going to have to cancel the weekend. We are terribly disappointed but our car park is now flooded again and the damage to the grounds from the May horse trials is only just settled, we are unable to make sure all take offs and landings are safe with amount of water that the ground is holding. 13.01.2022 Setting Up Yards at Events New Eventing Rules regarding yards were introduced on January 1st 2020. Following feedback from riders around the new rule, as well a...s a study of the yard rules in the General Regulations, the Chair of the National Eventing Committee and the joint Discipline Chairs met to agree on new wording around yards used at all EA events. The process for change is that the Equestrian Australia Board at their next meeting in February will look to ratify and update new wording. Congratulations to Bob from Wyoming for winning, and to all the competitors young, old, male and female from around the world who dared to compete in this gruelling competition. Currently we are about to start 60cm and 70cm On Sunday come and have a go at any height from 45cm to 1.15. Information about the day is available on Event Secretary. This is a great opportunity to introduce young horses to the world of competition in a fun and relaxed environment! Official Dressage is full.
