Coaches motivating and keeping us moving. It's just my Rugby Club Things get built here - Stronger bodies. Fitter bodies. Confident bodies. Things get broken here - Barriers. Silence. Sweat. Shyness. Loneliness. .....but It's just my Rugby Club Friendships are forged for life. Community is created. We rally together in the sad times. We celebrate the good times. We laugh together We cry together. We lift each other in good and bad times. .....but It's just my Rugby Club We conquer our demons. We relieve our stress. We quiet the voices in our heads. We feel at home here. .....but It's just my Rugby Club It's the date in our diary we never miss. It's the time for us to be carefree. It's the place where we can let go. It's part of our lives. 04.01.2022 Well, its time to say a sad farewell to two of our leading players and club members. George Booth, our dashing news reporter and 2019 Best & Fairest is upping sticks and returning home to SA (The Plague permitting). Its fair to say George has made a huge impact on the playing group with a massive work ethic both in attack and defence. He has assured me he will be returning from time to time. Rob Binks has been around the club for several years now and its fair to say Rob's c...ommitment in the front row has been second to none. For his efforts and calm, professional demeanour coupled with his practice of the dark arts Rob was awarded the club Captaincy in 2019. Rob told me that 'working with Ingles has just tipped me over the edge Pat. the only way I can get away is to get back home to NSW.' So, Rob is returning with his treasured family back to his home in NSW. To both players...our rugby community wishes you all the very best and please know that you are always welcome back. To wish them God Speed we are having a Covid friendly farewell bash for them. Please see attached and it would be great to see as many of you there as possible. (we have a limit of 70 I understand) Always Highlanders! Patrick
