19.01.2022 Crit Circuit Opening Next Wednesday We're pleased to announce that we will be recommencing our junior skills sessions and hot laps as of next Wednesday 11th November from 5:30pm until 6:00pm. All kids are welcome and there is no cost involved. All they need is a bike and a helmet. Please spread the word and invite your family and friends. Following the juniors, adults are most welcome to take advantage of the closed roads and ride the new/altered circuit from 6:00pm until 7:0...0pm. This will serve as a great opportunity to test out the new section of road and see what it is like without the bollards. Please be careful though and ensure there is never any more than a group of 10 riders together. In other news, the Road Nationals have been postponed until February 2021 and the Victorian Criterium Championships will be included as part of the event. 18.01.2022 BSCC 2020 SEASON - THRILLING END The final event of the 2020 was staged on a blustery criterium circuit at Victoria Park on Wednesday. The BOM radar showed rain on the way and the heavy cloud cover made for darker conditions. 18.01.2022 JUNIOR CRITS ARE BACK IN A BIG WAY! A phenomenal turnout of 29 kids took part in the first junior skills session and crits since March. It was fantastic to see such a great response after many months with no cycling events. A big thank you to Dean Wells for promoting, organising and setting up, Chris Liston for leading the coaching, Luke Taylor for corner marshalling and the parents/guardians for bringing the kids and assisting/supporting. Let’s hope the weather is just as good next week and likewise the turnout!

15.01.2022 BZRS AGGREGATE RESULTS: The hugely popular Ballarat Zwift Race Series came to an exciting close on Sunday with Jennifer Collier winning the final race and in turn, won the series' aggregate. Jen takes home a $150 BSCC Membership Voucher as well as a $100 Stems Flower Market voucher for winning the Female Competition. Congratulations Jen! 2nd in the series aggregate and collecting a $100 BSCC membership voucher is Rob Doyle. Jakkii Dawson finished in 3rd place and collects a $...50 BSCC membership voucher in addition to a $50 Stems Flower Market voucher for her 2nd place in the Female Competition. It was great to see 3rd placed female Miranda Griffiths back racing and winning a $25 Stems voucher. The time and effort he put in was very evident and a telling reason there was an average of around 60 riders registering every week. The series was everything and more than it was intended to be. 15.01.2022 SO MUCH FUN was a phrase heard tonight amongst the crowd of 42 smiling kids taking part in the junior skills session and hot laps in Vic Park tonight. A big thank you to Chris Liston, Damien Keirl, Dayne Pearce, Dean Wells & Shaun Martin for giving up your time to help ensure this popular program continues to succeed.
