21.01.2022 Great day yesterday at North Ballarat Sports Club for the Ballarat Sports Foundation's Round 64 Presentations! The Round granted 19 talented young athletes a Total Value of $9,500.00 The number of Sports Represented was 13 - Futsal, Cross Country, Golf, Triathlon, Basketball, Mountain Bike, Badminton, Racewalking , Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Wheelchair Athletics... Lifetime, the Ballarat Sports Foundation has awarded $433,600.00 across a total of 79 sports. Thanks to our sponsors: Rotary Club of Ballarat South, City of Ballarat, Ballarat Sportsmens Club, Central Highlands Water, The Courier, Crowe Horwath, Gold Bus, Don McKenzie and John Davis for making all of this possible.

21.01.2022 Wow what an incredible night! Scholarship round 70 of The Ballarat Sports Foundation complete. 28 awardees, with 150 people celebrating alongside them. The Ballarat Sports Foundation Inc (BSF) is a non-profit community project that aims to encourage participation in a healthy lifestyle and support local sportspeople helping them to achieve in their chosen sport. To date, since its 1995 inception, the BSF has provided 1208 scholarships worth a total of $443,000; with athletes participating in 79 different sports. 05.01.2022 Congratulations to Round 65's recipients! They were presented their scholarships today at the beautiful Regional Soccer Facility, enjoying the City of Ballarat's hospitality. Ten sports within the recipient group, including the never-before-funded-by-BSF Dragon Boat Racing. The BSF in its 22 years has now supported just under 1300 athletes across 80 sports to the tune of $455,000. This money has been donated by sponsors and the local community entirely. ... One of the biggest donors over time has been the Rotary Club of Ballarat South. Today, they presented a $7000 donation, bringing total donation over the 22 years to over $100,000.
